Creatine
I have embark on a
fitness
journey of Crossfit and after 12 months wish to improve even more. I am advised by my coach to take Creatine and that this is natural and improves performance and muscle recovery. Anyone take this? Is there any liver impact? Thanks

Yes, my PMR has gone so maybe you are not ready but if you get on to it (in the UK) it is a slow way to build up strength and how you can improve your strenght and
fitness
. Everyone in the class has various issues - oa, back issues, knee issues - you name it.

A reset, return of a lapsed runner.
I got fatter and lost my
fitness
and got frustrated that I couldn't run 5k in under 26 mins any more, in fact I could barely do it at all, everything hurt so had to miss days...the frustration and the pain combined with the busy schedule I just gave up on running.

Graduation Day!
I hope you’re all doing your best out there and I’ll continue with this programme so as to keep my
fitness
and stamina. This morning’s run was enjoyable although quite hard at times. My hair kept flopping away and I was bursting for a wee by the end.

This Week in Cardiology on Medscape - Heart Rate Monitors
• If your patient with AF brings you one of those graphs from a
fitness
app that shows good HR control, it would be wise to confirm this with a proper ECG tracing. •

Leg/calf pain?
I know my
fitness
is improving because my recovery time is much better. But this pain is making running miserable some days. Any thoughts, or advice? Id really appreciate it. I don't want to give up this journey that I've worked so hard for.

Practice run
That's the beauty of this programme - doesn't just change your
fitness
but changes your attitude and self-belief too. 😊😊

Can you get back to fitness after an ablation?
What’s the experience of athletes who have had an ablation, getting back to some level of
fitness
over time? I an 60 and not expecting any miracle but want to know what may be possible. Currently I am still enjoying my riding at a slower pace than before.I would love to hear your stories. Thanks

Gave myself a running reward that will give myself a running reward!
I bet you have a similar pesky
fitness
diary, imaginary or not, that just forces your hand and signs you up to the next race, virtual or not. Ideally one with a gorgeous medal!

Mitral Valve Operation Success Story
My
fitness
is coming back and feel best ive felt in years. All i would like to say to people who are worried about going in for heart operations, yes it's worrying pre-op but honestly all worth it for how you could feel 10 weeks post op.

When other people's opinions Count
I have lost a staggering amount of muscle and
fitness
but I am feeling better. I have lost the fat face and the large stomach is slowly going. I cannot sustain efforts for long and my lower back doesn't like sustained work. That said everyone without exception comments that I look better.

Heading for a relapse?
Having had a pretty textbook experience with PMR, pred and tapering to zero over a couple of years, I have enjoyed a return of energy levels and
fitness
over the next 2 years. However, I've felt quite fatigued for a few months. A blood test showed CRP 1 and no other obvious reasons for fatigue.

Back in the saddle….
hi - just returning after 5 years away and wanting to kickstart my
fitness
and make sure I retain it as I get older. I’ve been doing yoga for a year so had lulled myself into a false sense of security thinking I was pretty supple and fit … but I was wrong!

i reckon decades of no fat, no sugar, no salt, super sporty, popular dieting has contributed to poor condition
it seems to have caused deficiency in nutrition. someone i know is ultra lean,
fitness
instructor, has been at peak
fitness
for decades, and that looks like a problem. some of it is obsession/ control (unhealthy), i know it as i've had similar.

My life is pretty much back to normal, work full time and busy as ever
Fitness
wise, running, cycling and walking but still not really pushing myself to the limit as I used to when racing as I thought I would give it a year to build up my
fitness
.
