Can asthma cause muscle aches?
It's obviously not lack of
fitness
, because I was walking much further, over more difficult and steeper terrain on holiday, so I wondered if it could be connected to the asthma? It does seem to be worse on the days when my breathing is playing up.

ILRs and Fitbits
I wanted to monitor my heart and
fitness
, so bought an Inspire 3 Fitbit, only to realise they may not be suitable for ILR implant users. I've consulted Google, and of course, there are conflicting reports on the subject. Any advice gratefully received.

ROWING: Sunday morning quandaries
And you get to know each other quite well, helping to understand various
fitness
journeys and opportunities. But this sunny morning, the freshness beckoned me to a run, but it was also the first group row after various holiday breaks.

Post IC Run 3
I'm not up to Parkrun
fitness
yet but I'll get there. Back to this morning's run. Having done week 1 and 2 run 1 on my previous runs I opted for and run 1 of a week, so I decides to go with week 5.

Meds & Nausea & Rehab
REHAB I cannot find any information about actual cardio rehab (not general regaining strength and
fitness
) - how does one know when to push the heart rate and to what level (so say doing step ups or walking fast up a hill)?

What is running to you? 🏃♀️🏃🏽🤔
It helps massively with my mental well-being, and of course my physical
fitness
. It has taught me I can do hard things and given me a sense of pride in what this (not so young anymore) body can do! I have the bling to prove it!

Looking for tips and experience of regaining fitness after an ICD implant for LVT.

The second ICD implant and lead revision seems to be healing well and it will be coming up to 4 weeks in a couple of days. I have been increasing my walking, including hills, over

Advice?
I have been doing couch to 5k for two weeks now and I haven't moved up to week two yet as I don't feel like my body and
fitness
is up for it as I am still really struggling with week one. I have not done week one a total of 6 runs. But I am struggling to jog for the 60s even still.

Exercise
I want to up my
fitness
levels as can move around more now but don’t (but nervy as think unsteady, but partly that’s in my head). My GP told me not to take things suddenly (e.g. even gentle swimming might be too much, but I would like to try and do something if it helps.
