Started over
Just completed week3 run 1 this morning after losing my
fitness
and restarting the program. My knee is hurting a little even with supports on but I managed my run. Any thoughts on if I could take 2 days rest breaks instead of 1 to help this?

Will this endurance and
fitness
come, the more I run ?? It winds me up when I see other people (well, a bloke in work) who smokes like a chimney and runs, 10k, park runs, half marathon's etc all the time.

This one's about some actual, real-life running. And not being normal.
This segment of the run unequivocally demonstrated to me that my
fitness
is down there, in the gutter somewhere, but it also lit the short-fuse on my motivation. In a split second I fell in love with it all again.

Well that was a surprise 😜
The man upstairs has been trying to increase his
fitness
so on Christmas eve we agreed to go for a half hour walk each day to encourage each other to get out whatever the weather. So far I've chosen where to go and we've walked from home, round Brooklands and along the river.

Test results - I think I might have iron deficiency to add into the mix........
To put this into perspective, in 2020 I was a
fitness
instructor who walked / ran 7 or 8kms a day then worked on my feet all day so it continues to be a huge decline. Someone has suggested going to see a gastroenterologist if I am iron deficient to see why I'm not absorbing.

Completed the Couch to 5k Plan in Brazil: A Successful Journey Inspired by the NHS
This journey reminded me that no matter where you are in the world, with determination and support, it is possible to achieve your
fitness
goals. And now, I am ready to take on new challenges and explore more opportunities for well-being.

So Long Bisoprolol (hopefully)
As I've recovered and increased my
fitness
, even with an improved ejection fraction of 41%, I and the medics agreed to stop the Bisoprolol.

Just Another Hurdle or We Like The Hills.
That being said I have to regain muscle and
fitness
in order to begin anew. Don't know how long it will take or how much can be regained or even if I should at present. How do we ever know when it is right to start pushing again. Can we ever know if the condition has finally gone away?

Something new for today
So one of our local running groups is starting a
fitness
walking group today and I am going along to try it out! I’m already running three times a week and this is a gentle extra as I can’t do any gym workouts did to my shoulder! My friend is running it so I am going to support her!

Can anyone explain Mr Garmin recovery times and fitness ages please ?
In addition my
fitness
age is now 51 and while not complaining since I’m actually 64, doesn’t really make any sense 🤔 I’m not particularly fussed but the information intrigued me. I’ve googled it but without any success - can anyone shed light on this for me please ? 🏃♀️🏃🏻🏃♀️

I didn’t know if I’d be able to come back…..
Then I used a
fitness
app and did yoga 3 to 5 times a week for 6 weeks and 4 weeks into that I started week 4 of C25km. I don’t know if I will get to 10km but I’m just so happy I’ve made it to 5km. All the best to everyone. Lindy

RHR after exercise
I eat healthy fats like avocado, plenty of protein and also carbs (I am utilizing my
fitness
pal to track what I am eating, to make sure I eat enough). Today I did my session a core class and had a very gentle swim and sauna session after.
