Post Covid / ICU fitness
Hiya, has anyone regained full
fitness
since there stay in ICU? I still find that, two years later, I don’t have the muscle strength to take on anyhthing strenuous ove4 and above daily tasks. Just wondering how others are recovering?

Three runs & a bit of illness
Building up to anything or focusing on targets is pretty much irrelevant as I want to regain/retain
fitness
. (Though no goody-goody am I: I used my chest as an excuse to avoid the miserable mizzle this morning!)

Blood pressure using fitness tracker
Has anyone experience of using a wearable
fitness
tracker (like a smart watch) for continuous BP measurement?

Very little holiday running 😎
Hopefully any lost
fitness
will return and the determination to get back into my stride, quite literally. Adios, and happy running from a hot and sunny Spain.

Starting the weight loss programme to improve
fitness
and reduce weight slowly. Hoping to have a better understanding of balancing diet and maintaining an achievable activity routine.

Am I on the right diet plan for losing weight and building muscle?
I then came up with a diet chart based on it but the problem is every article I read, every
fitness
influencer I follow, every gym bros' videos I watch, they all say different things.

First ever 10K done!
I’m looking forward to seeing how my overall running and
fitness
improves with the addition of longer runs as I’m sure I’ll see a difference! Anyway! That’s all! I ran 10K and I’m really pleased ☺️ Happy running everybody! 🏃♀️

Back again, just started week 3.
I did play around with one or two of the runs so far, skipping the walk sessions on some, just testing my current
fitness
levels, etc, did a 5 minute jog in week 2 and an 8 minute jog on week 3 run 1.

A new year, a new (re)start, and another memento from covid.
I could feel my
fitness
returning. I didn't need to sit on that bench! And, this week, on a bright but veeery cold day, I decided it was time to try a run. I went for a week 2 run and it heavy going at first but it was actually fine.

Struggle past 5K
I did try to walk a lot to keep up my
fitness
levels. We had holidays in March and May so when I returned from these I started the program again in June and stuck to the plan and graduated 9 weeks later. I knew I could do it as I had done it before.

WEEKLY CHAT: 29th APRIL-5th May 🥦🥬🥙
I hope that those of us who are preparing for the HU10 are fine tuning their plans and will have their
fitness
finely honed for the big week. A Spring run was such a brilliant idea linda9389 .

Week 9, run 3, purring like a cat!
I think I will give myself a couple of weeks more to consolidate and improve
fitness
and strength and then give that a go. I also want to run/walk one of my favourite walks, about two hours if just walking.
