Does anyone experience dizziness sometimes
The last two weeks have been very stressful for me and my family because my brother who is 37 years old has been recently hospitalized for necrotizing
fasciitis
and is very ill. I have been visiting my brother as often as possible praying he will be taken off life support everyday.

update on post
Went to doctors and he has given the problem a name which is 'Plantar
Fasciitis
' - hooray - a name at least. Various causes, immunity problems, diet, liver problems (my ears pricked up) and I am seeing him about cortizone injections tomorrow.

Another Newbie
I'm running very gingerly, trying not to trigger another bout of plantar
fasciitis
which I first got running on a treadmill a couple of years ago. I'm icing and stretching constantly and do feel a niggle or two but so far so good.

recently diagnosed, scared of medication
Long story short, after three months of pain, several different diagnosis (planter
fasciitis
, tendonitis, etc.), and no improvement- only worsening, I took it upon myself to go to a rheumatologist (at this point, I wasn't able to walk without excruciating pain in my left foot).

Plantal Fasciitis
Has anyone suffered from this heel injury? Developed it while doing a workout on a concrete floor (stupid) 4 weeks ago. I've researched the correct stretches, any idea how long I should rest it for?

It is interesting reading, and seems to make sense, though I can't vouch for its accuracy. http://www.somastruct.com/cause-of-plantar-

Hanging onto treadmill
I hang onto the side handles of the treadmill when I run, and I'm worried that I won't be able to run 'without hanging on' 😁 I do struggle with back pain and also plantar
fasciitis
(in the morning but usually fine when in running tho) What's your thoughts on getting myself off the rails ??

Tending to the tendons.. and some running discount rewards to recommend
Had almost 2 weeks off after running my first 9k due to an overtraining injury to the back of my heel- either a bit of insertional achilles tendinitis or plantar
fasciitis
or a combination.

I restarted c25k on Sunday after a long break due to plantar
fasciitis
. I had got about as far as WK 6or7 but after 8 months I knew I needed to go back to the start. I'm glad I did.. Run 1, I ended up with hip and knee pain looking like I had a wooden leg!

Advice please
My feet still get very painful and swell up and I have plantar
fasciitis
, another reason he thought I had hypothyroidism. I also have weak wrists and he thought the onset of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. My periods have long spaces between them and are very light, this is worrying me.

Getting back
Worries about my ability to run with frozen shoulder, plantar
fasciitis
, and IBS, added to my general lack of self confidence and self belief, and the fact that I do find it incredibly hard work possibly due to a heart murmur I've had since birth.

Reviewing the year
However I've also been dealing with IBS flare-ups, a viral cough so bad I was coughing myself sick for 10 days, shingles, frozen shoulder and plantar
fasciitis
. I'm still so lucky to have a very able body, but right now it's beginning to feel a bit restricted and is getting me down.

Getting in my own way (i.e., it's ok to get help)
For example, I now have in-house shoes with outdoor soles, plantar
fasciitis
insoles inside the shoes (turns out I shouldn’t be walking barefoot, ever - hence why pain has been increasing so exponentially).

Flesh eating disease - What causes it and How is it Contracted, Recognised and Treated?
Unfortunately, early necrotising
fasciitis
is easily missed. This is because the symptoms – fever, pain, swelling and tenderness at the affected site – may be non-specific or confused with a mild, superficial infection.
