Advice with Graves Disease
Chiefly very disturbed sleep, anxiety, palpitations, and
exercise
intolerance. My TSH is 6.9, T3 is 3.2 and T4 is 10.8. So according to Thyroid Function I am subclinical Hypo probably caused by too high a dose of Carbimazole. So why am I getting symptoms of Hyper?

Daily depressive insomnia is killing me slowly..
I have no energy to do anything, I have lost interest in things I used to enjoy,
exercise
is extremely difficult and the daily headaches, dizziness and nausea limit my ability to participate in life.

Changing Room Chat...Week 3! I am so SORRY I am so LATE...but...
* Regular, consistent
exercise
plays a huge part in increasing stamina. What? But I feel tired now! Yes, that may be true but, if we get into a routine... it starts to reverse that feeling! * Short bursts of high impact
exercise
have proved to be really effective. * Eat well. Hydrate Well.

K0706 Clinical Trial
I see a PT and
exercise
, which really helps with the stiffness. I'm postponing meds because I think I'd like to try to get into a clinical trial at OHSU in Portland, Oregon (where I live). One of the studies I'm interested in is for a tyrosine kinase inhibitor, K0706.

I did it, finally!
Good luck to everyone working their way through the programme, I still find it amazing that someone like me (61, overweight, always been hopeless at sports) can develop an
exercise
habit and actually enjoy it. The posts on this forum have been so inspiring too. Onwards and upwards 😁

I seem to have no one to tell me how much
exercise
I can do etc. My GP is unfortunately not much help and I'm not sure they know much about the condition really.

5 2 diet and heart problems
He said that I could do some
exercise
but I needed to take it easy. I didn't ask him if it was OK to do the 5 2. I was pre diabetic but I have managed to bring my number down so I am all clear. I also have brought down my cholesterol numbers. I have also lost about 6 pounds in 3 weeks.

I read that it isn't advisable to take thyroxine with suppressed TSH and T4!
So much so, I can't work full time or at least
exercise
, as a result of not working. My social life is ad hoc. I am normally a very active sociable person. I was advised by a holistic GP that I should still aim to get my T4 in range despite my thyroid not converting T4 to T3 very well.

pulse field ablation success story
The critical point is the daily
exercise
which is in my case 3 to 4 miles walk a day at my own rhythm and some bike and strength training. I know success story is not fun to read and I am ready for the next ablation in case Afib returns. And Afib as we all know is an unpredictable beast.

Gorgeous holiday run
As they live a 2 hour drive from us, this has involved many overnight stays, with interrupted
exercise
routines. Plus lots of colds etc (thank you little ones) and decorating the lounge at home (mega!). Now we've finally carved out a week to ourselves, hurray!

Huge difference between DEXA and REMS
In August of this year, my DEXA scan T-score readings were: Left femoral neck: -2.3, left hip overall: -2.0 Right femoral neck: -2.5, right hip overall: - 2.3 Spine: -0.9 Nov.27 - only 3 months later and working on bone health through
exercise
and nutrition/supplements, I got a REMS scan at Sanford

Daily Diary w/c 25th March 2024: Part 1
Exercise
continues to be challenging-my job has becoming increasingly sedentary over the last few years and am sometimes quite late home, but now the evenings are getting lighter I am aiming to be more boundaried about leaving work on time and getting a regular walk in after work.
