PMR and blood clots
No apparent cause (don't smoke, not overweight and
exercise
regularly. (I'm 75 yo female). Just wondering if the inflammation caused by PMR could trigger blood clots.

Carbs vs. Fats vs. Protein
So itās time to buckle up and get back to a cancer-preventive diet along with my current
exercise
program. Using MyFitnessPal app, I have set up these target macros: 45% carbs, 35% fat, and 20% protein, based on a minimum caloric intake for my weight.

I'm not just thinking solely, about mindfulness here, and not just the huge impact
exercise
has on our well being... but more, how we can

our mind to support our

Hello, any help welcome
And, horror of horrors, I'm gaining weight, when, prior to this, my attempt at weight loss, calorie and carb counting,
exercise
, healthy eating etc, was working. I'm 69, 4ft 11in.

I asked the arrhythmia nurse if there was a chance he could have another eco cardiogram to see if this had improved because how do we know how much
exercise
is safe etc if we donāt know this ? She just sort of stared at me blankly and didnāt reply . Thank you for any advice

Any and all
exercise
counts, from housework to marathon running, armchair exercises to wheelchair basketball. Your only limitation will be your imagination.

š Understanding the Scientific Process: A Guide for Patients

Example:
A doctor notices that patients who
exercise
regularly seem to have lower blood pressure and wonders if
exercise
directly reduces blood pressure.
2. Literature Review
Before diving into new research, scientists review existing studies to see what is already known.

Exercise or not
My question is: is it ok to
exercise
such as a walk or should I rest? I say irregular heart beat as when I saw gp recently for another matter he said that when I saw irregular heartbeat icon on bp monitor it didn't necessarily mean af.

A Salient chat?
She was worried at the time as he was taking no notice of the advice he was given at Rehab, still eating all the wrong stuff and zero
exercise
, not sure about the Meds but I know she has told me only a few weeks ago he "didn't even like taking pills for a headache".

The dreaded Bradycardia is back.
I'm fitted with an ilr (implant loop recorder) so I've pressed my key fob to highlight the episodes for the pacing team to see I also have a
exercise
stress test booked for next wk so hopefully something will come of it and compare notes with the pacing team. Cheers Taz.

Support with travel insurance
Although I have been undertaking mild swimming twice a week I have been advised by the Angiogram team to immediately cease
exercise
as a precaution. Can anyone recommend suitable travel insurance and is it worth getting the UK Global Health Card. Thank you for any support you can give. Crispin

Wall Pilates
Hi all, I recently signed up for an app to do a month of wall Pilates to get some
exercise
and strengthen my core but only did about 18 days. The app I used didn't fit my needs and had standing to floor and then back to standing exercises.
