Weight gain with Femara/Letrozole
I am a fitness instructor and haven't changed my eating or
exercise
so I'm thinking it may be a side effect of the treatment and hormones combined. My chin has also decided to break out in spots - not something I have dealt with since using an IUD.

Pradaxa. Benefits and problems
Regular
exercise
is recommended and if permitted by the doctor you should get out of breath at least four times a week with a minimum of five hours of medium intensity training or sport. This keeps the weight down.

Need your advice please
Furthermore, it is very frustrating not to be in a position of control (via my diet and
exercise
regime) regarding my weight and appearance.

No runs for 3w - hard work!
Graduated C25K in August … then got married 3 weeks ago … hence lots of celebrating & no
exercise
! Managed a very hot & sweaty slow 30mins today…. Almost stopped at 20min but just slowed right down. Not sure I’ll ever make it to 10k!! 🙄

chest discomfort
Have been active building up
exercise
and swimming well. Today walked a dog for the first time. She pulled a bit and after a while I found a slight discomfort in my right chest. This is a different “action” to swimming etc and I assuming will just become ok with time. Anyone any advice?

Help needed
Cycling is difficult and when I climb lots of stairs or do too much cardiovascular
exercise
my quadriceps sometimes cramp up. The next time I see my neurologist I know he will recommend a muscle biopsy which I am reluctant to do as I heard it can be quite painful.

How much exercise needed?
My leg muscles hurt all the time though; I don’t know if the ADT makes recovery from
exercise
longer. So I’m actually thinking of scaling back
exercise
even though I fear that the amount I’m doing might already be insufficient. I’m 72 years old. interested in any advice or insights. Thanks.

Ropinerole to Gabapentin
Just for background, I have a very good Neurologist who is cooperative, I am 69 years,
exercise
regularly, eat 99% vegetarian, low BMI, and good iron counts, and also not sure it is relevant but live at altitude (7600 ft.). Thank you all for your responses and for this forum.

Itchy skin, scratchy eyes, heat and humidity…. 🤔
My left eye is mostly unhappy and I wondered if it may be allergy, just my touchy system as I carry 2 epipens for anaphylaxis (wheat allergy triggered by
exercise
/heat). My eyes tend to have dry spots now which I never had before.

Advice needed re Hashimotos.
Hard to do even gentle
exercise
, breathless, dry itchy crawling skin, muscle and joint aches. Low back ache is awful and can’t stand for long. I have a rowing machine and aim for 20 minutes a day. I think the palpitations have reduced since upping to 175mcg.

Entered the TWW for the 6th time - how strict are you?
And with it being cold, wet and dark early I’m not getting in much walking so lacking in
exercise
. I’m already giving myself a bit of a hard time and worrying I won’t be helping myself get the positive I so badly want.

MSA-C with ataxia rebound
Exercise
for balance has really helped but unfortunately my ataxia is not visible now. Wobbly walk seems to have disappeared but sometimes sneaks back but in a different way. Wondering if balance
exercise
and walking has helped anyone else.

Recovery from GCA -regaining stamina, diminishing fatigue
I’m still pacing carefully, managing rest, healthy diet (mostly, it has been Christmas), some
exercise
and I’m actually sick of it. I can go a few days where sleep is restorative and all is well, followed by a couple of grim fatigued days when I know I have to take it easy.

Hello, Thank you and does this sound familiar to anyone?
I have become a bit obsessive on what I should and shouldn’t eat, as well as how much
exercise
I am doing. I’m doing some swimming but mainly walking. I am struggling to adjust to having days when I’m wiped out and days I can do things. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
