Introduction and Thanks
Because of being lucky enough to
exercise
I set myself a minimum of 6,000 steps a day combined with a really strict diet. My young doctor was delighted when after 6 months she smiled and told me that I had smashed the ball out the park.

sotalol and cardio
It rises to over 200 during
exercise
. I’m hesitant to take sotalol as it may inhibit my ability to
exercise
heavily. Anyone have experience with this?

Painful legs (burning sensation behind both knees)
It doesn’t improve or worsen on
exercise
and is particularly painful laying in bed. I used to be able to shake it off after 10 mins of walking around, but not now. Painkillers only take the edge of it. I’m due my annual review with the cardiology team in 4 weeks. I know you shouldn’t….but….

Just some good news
So he is now able to walk 4 miles a day and has been able to do more weight and aerobic
exercise
which should be helping to kill those pesky cancer cells. His PSA continues to drop and yesterdays PSMA PET scan showed a marked decrease in all the cancer spots with many now undetectable.

recovery expectations
Does anyone have any guides on what to expect re
exercise
after 4/5 weeks? I realise everyone is different but it would be useful to hear other experience for better or worse!!!

PMR or arthritis?
About three or four months ago I began to have a very tight lower back and this became sciatic pain for a while which I have dealt with using an
exercise
programme so that the physio tells me that my pain is not from the sciatic nerve any more.

New Year changes
I'm looking for things like
exercise
ideas, minor dietary changes, supplements, ways to maintain mental health etc, and ideally things that are fairly easy to implement (I don't have the energy, time or enthusiasm for major life changes!).

Fibroscan fluctuating scores
Whilst I’m happy with my CAP score (I’ve lost over a stone and have done A LOT of healthy lifestyle changes, including lots of
exercise
, healthy eating, no alcohol, high fibre diet low sugar etc), I am slightly concerned that my fibroscan has gone from 4.7kpa to 5.6kpa in 6 months.

back pain
I’ve got another gp appointment next week as I want to know what’s caused it and if, apart from
exercise
what else I can do. Has anyone else has this problem that they can share their experiences.

Time to say Hello
Anyway, my back is still very stiff so I have to be gentle but I’ve made a start eating better, even if I can’t
exercise
much. I lost 5+ stones with weightwatchers back along and have mostly done okay, using a low carb regime to shift any creeping gains. So I know what I have to do.

PMR weight loss
Contrary to most people’s experience I didn’t gain much weight while on steroids, although I was more prone to hypoglycaemia which I kept at bay with muesli bars -I did/do
exercise
a lot. Can anyone cast any light on this ?

My journey to 5k
Part of the rehab is an 8 week physical
exercise
programme which is as hard as you want it to be. Anyway a couple of weeks in to rehab and I feel I can, and should, do more to improve my fitness. I asked the course leaders if I could consider C25k and they said yes.

Can last anywhere from a couple minutes to hours and no triggers I can notice , ie doesn’t seem to get worse with
exercise
( if anything seems to ease) 2 different cardiologists have said they don’t think it’s heart related however I am at my wits end I am worried about restenosis as the stent I had
