Low Carb or even Keto why is not recommended with low thyroid - can I control prediabetes with diet ?
As I write, I am thinking of now of pushing my
exercise
level as well for pre diabetes. I am reasonably active but sometimes my work and "thyroid rabbit holes" lead to periods of sedentary behaviour!
Background
(I am a bit over range on T4 and about 15% on T3 range.

Panic Attacks while driving
In November 2021, On the day of my brothers funeral, I was involved in four car chain reaction accident that totaled my car ( I wasn't at fault). After the accident, I was driving without any issues whatsoever until February of this year when I had my first panic attack while driving. I've asked my

New and Needing Advice
They just tell you to do stretches,
exercise
, yoga, meditation, etc. That's it. To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. No one has really fully explained fibromyalgia to me either or how it could be causing different symptoms. So I was hoping maybe I could get some advice here.

learning to live with GCA/PMR
I am still housebound and the GCAand PMR diagnosis has made it difficult for me to progress the walking and
exercise
I need to make any kind of decent recovery from my hip fracture. I also have serious osteoporosis. So a pretty shit 15 months but I am determined not to give up.

Cardiologist put me on an
exercise
ECG machine back say 12 yrs ago and he explained it as me tearing small muscles round the ribs and this could set off vibrations in the chest, seemed plausible. This went on and off over the years and didn’t concern me or him.

Increasing exercise and swimming
Early on when first diagnosed a doctor suggested an
exercise
bike would strengthen hip muscles and protect the joints.

My plan is to lose weight by calorie counting and
exercise
. I feel better motivated by challenges. Is there any challenge to lose weight by 2 months or so?

Logging exercise
I've been swimming over the last few weeks but it won't allow me to log it as it wasn't one of the suggested exercises. How do I log this please? Thank you!

Mum's battle
Since supplementation and introducing regular
exercise
, her health was much better until she woke up with unbearable neck pain. A physio came to her house and said she’d be better in three days. We also got a locum out who prescribed naproxen.

I’m a perpetual dieter
I’ve got all clear to
exercise
and I’ve started the active 10 programme, joined a yoga class, it’s tough going as I’m soo heavy. So I need help to focus on losing this weight which is a strain in all my organs.

Gym Circuits - good idea?
I manage my fibromyalgia through pacing and
exercise
so I swim, walk, run and do AquaFit. I have recently also tried to include pilates or yoga for stretching as well. However these classes have been cancelled and there is now a gym circuits class which I have done twice.

Importance of Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors
I raised the issue that I didn't have any of the other modifiable cardiovascular disease risks such as smoking/high alcohol level/
exercise
etc but they seemed fixated on the BP reading.
