Naming Emotions/Triggers
I did the
exercise
, it was ok. But, I feel like it is disassociating from life, somehow, and I worry it is not healthy. My therapist (very helpful and thoughtful) means well, and thinks that this is better than avoiding things/emotions/triggers. Has anyone ever done this?

🙄 What I would like to know is if anyone out there has been in the same situation, but has been able to get into a doable
exercise
routine and regained some strength? I’ve never felt so useless, and it is so depressing!

Hypothyroid for 30 years
I am now physically disabled with arthritic knees and cannot walk far, so any
exercise
I used to be able to do is now not available to me because of high degree pain.

Repeat blood test - Subclinical hypothroidism?
Periods still v heavy and coming every 3 weeks, not able to lose weight, although just about maintaining through diet and
exercise
. Do I just wait until my thyroid is destroyed? Is there anything I can do to prevent any further damage, would medication help prevent it?

How long trouble-free?
On one year check,
exercise
test results were excellent. Due to statins, my cholesterol is excellent (total 2.75, , LDL 0.9, HDL 1.2).

All I can think is I'm muscle building from upping my
exercise
from 1 hour a week to 6 hours a week plus walking to and from work. Anyway have a great weekend 😁

Swim or Not
After my TAVI procedure I asked about swimming - I saw a leaflet that cautioned about post operative - cold water - and horizontal
exercise
- I took the advice so cannot report on any result of ignoring it.

Moderate mitral valve regurgitation
My GP has said I can’t do any
exercise
apart from gentle
exercise
until I see a cardiologist. Looking at some of the posts in the forum, lots of people have said that their MVP with moderate regurgitation has just been monitored rather than operated on.

No symptoms other than occasional mild chest pains after
exercise
. No idea what to expect now, just wondered if anyone here can give me an insight of what's next.

Exercise
Hello thank you for the comforting replies, they really do help.I wanted to ask about
exercise
. I try to go out walking a couple of times a week. However, I find I get breathless easily and obviously can't walk as far as I did 6 months ago. Is this usual for Lupus?

Finding coping strategies - my experience
Exercise
and diet are difficult and require motivation with clear goals and noticable benefits, but as much as anything need to be part of our weekly routines. Luckily I am a member of a gym which run cross-fit sessions.

OCD came back!!!!
Finally I came to my senses and wrote out a short narrative (an exposure
exercise
) about going to the doctor and finding out I have inoperable cancer with only a few months to live. I read it and it scared me. Then I read it again, again and again. The anxiety started fall off….

If you can find a walking buddy and start like I did five years ago - 500 metres each day for a week, 1 km daily ffor a week and build up to 10 km per day I go early so that the two hours of
exercise
don't eat up my day and also its not too hot - we are in a heatwave here in NZ at the moment - so
