Muscle Twitches following increased dose of Levothyroxine
In particular my pulse is faster and I can also feel a pulse like sensation in my thigh mainly after
exercise
but not always and slight twitches under rib cage. I have just googled it and it says this can happen if the dose is too high!

Attempting to quit again
I told myself I work full time,
exercise
and eat my own cooking I deserved it. I even peed the bed multiple times and just pegged myself as being “a binge drinker” on occasion and didn’t consider that alcoholism.

But I am a little afraid of Prolia’s side effects and wonder if calcium pills and weight bearing
exercise
will make it unnecessary. Should I take Prolia now, or wait to see what a DEXA scan shows in 6 months?

Soft bones, under pressure to take meds finally…
Up to now I’ve done the health route minus a lot of
exercise
. I’m partially disabled so limited walking is the only option. I’ve been visited by a physiotherapist who has only recommended walking as tolerated. She didn’t recommend any exercises. I’m 78 turning 79 just before Xmas.

BP with COPD and Thyroid
I’ve been on 75 aspirin; bisoprolol 6.25mg daily; Ranolazine 375mg twice daily; and PRALUENT injections from when I had a stent fitted and my bp 145/78 pulse 58 which was great but my bp has gradually increased to 157/85 pulse 67 , I was on Allopurinol before stent was filled but I kept swelling up!

Easy, Cheap Exercise solutiom
Hi all, I’m on ADT for Pca and got lectured by everyone in a white coat about the importance of resistance training. I was doing fine at the gym until a bladder cancer reappeared. Combined with a bad case of radiation cystitis, I’ve had to have a bladder catheter in for a few months. Found it impossible

I take care of myself well and my diet/
exercise
are good. Although I food avoid due to such bloating all the time, it’s sore and pulls my ribs and makes me feel quite unwell when I eat too much.

Self sabotage
I walk everyday ( dog owner) I like gym type
exercise
but even that’s a struggle at the moment though I am doing it.Sorry to go on - once I started writing I couldn’t stop. I know its down to me and I know what I have to do - just feel a bit useless about it today.

A dark evening walk can be lovely, but it’s important to stay safe when out and about.

A timely reminder
If the worst happens, the dog would have to be on a drip to flush the kidneys though for up to several days-a VERY costly
exercise
, apart from the anxiety aspect!! And the vet would rather not be called out to an incident like that! PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

SURPRISE SURPRISE GENTLEMEN
Apart from abject embarrassment, I was actually relieved to hear this news for not only was it nothing sinister - yes 1% of men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year, when I next go swimming, one
exercise
I love, and get the curious stares I will have the knowledge it is nothing I can help!
