I wondered how people approach
exercise
to try to maintain their fitness. I am going to a respiratory physio as too much
exercise
tends to leave me rather fatigued and asthmatic. So I decided that my normal approach of pushing it, needed modification, so I sought advice.

I bought a contraption on Amazon after watching two doctors on youtube talk about this breathing
exercise
device that helps strengthen the lungs and improve oxygen flow.

Hi folks, I’m currently 12+3 with my first (IVF) pregnancy. To date I’ve stuck to yoga and walking but I’d love to get back outside and do some light jogging… I think it would make we feel better. I used to run twice a week religiously and then cut back when I got on the IVF machine. Is it okay for me

All very well asking for number of steps when you walk but unless you have some sort of electronic aid it is rather difficult. It does not help if you are under the doctor for various ailments but one does ones best.

Let me start by saying this is in no way meant to disrespect, disregard, belittle or undermine anybody who loves and enjoys
exercise
But how much does it matter within the confines of recovery?

My IBS Team Sheet – Are you breathing correctly? (How it helps my IBS and anxiety)
In the mean time why not spend some time researching into how doing some breathing
exercise
could help you manage your anxiety that will in turn calm your IBS flare up! Remember you will never be able to get rid of your anxiety completely as it is part of the human condition.

My IBS Team Sheet – 1. Muscular pain in chest (How I manage)
Simply by 'leaning in' or focussing on the tension and using a breathing
exercise
and mindfulness I soon become calm with the knowledge that the tension will pass. [i]
Always here if you ever want to chat about how to manage your IBS symptoms from someone who has IBS.

I'm wondering if daily
exercise
(50 min at the gym) could be making me stuck at 12.5 mg? I've tried several slow tapers but only made it from 20 mg to 12.5 mg in the last 9 months. Any ideas?

A little less conversation...
Cardio work... ( Basically any kind of
exercise
that improves the workings of our heart and lungs delivering the oxygen to our muscles during a workout is good... and can also reduce anxiety! So many
exercise
options too! Running ( sigh), swimming, cycling and of course, walking.

logging exercise
I’ve just come in from 90 minutes gardening. Bits of digging, lawn mowing, planting, weeding. I thought I could log it as ‘other activities’. I’ve done that before but it doesn’t seem to be an option any more. Am I missing something or do I really need to press start beforehand. It’s the same with retrospectively
