Another 8 weeks on. Advice, please
I have more energy and have even been able to start doing a little
exercise
again. But I can at times feel slightly wired and restless and have bouts of diarrhoea. Here are the results of my Medichecks test this week.

How long to improve glucose
How long did it take for you to improve your blood sugar levels or eliminate T2 diabetes with diet and
exercise
? Been eating healthy and exercising for about 2 months and lost 5 lbs but fasting blood sugar hasn’t improved. Does it take a long time or does it depend on how much weight you lose?

High Coronary Calcium Score
Following a thorough investigation, which included an
exercise
ECG and calcium measure, I received a stent in June 2023. I am now in cardiac rehab and on medication. My question concerns my coronary calcium score of almost 7,000.

No health issues before diagnosis, now everything is a little scary
I do have a healthy diet, could always be better, and
exercise
regularly. Need to lose weight as piled on with long covid. The next issue was my cholesterol , reading 5.2 in January though LDL was far too high .

Is this normal?
So I keep reading and being told by health professionals that
exercise
is good for fibromyalgia and that social interaction is good for my anxiety and depression, but although I try to do these things it ends up making me so ill.

🍏The unexpected
So dizzy & nauseous I can hardly move let alone
exercise
or run! Awaiting an MRI scan! How life can change overnight… however if running has taught me one thing, it’s this… it doesn’t always go to plan… so find a way through! I will! Watch this space….

What is it?
• Stress (Prolonged) • Lack of sleep •
Exercise
• Bending down/getting up - sometimes even if done slowly • Dehydrated • Usually things get worse about an hour or 2 of being awake.

A quick Sunday Run after Calf-Strain recovery
10 days after a minor calf strain, with some gentle
exercise
and gentle rowing in the run-up towards today, and this Sunday morning I went out for my first little, gentle 20 min jeffing run to try out me newly recovered legs.

Updates on AF meds
I told him I wanted to
exercise
again at the gym, he said I could do whatever I wanted to do, but to just take it easy with anything attempted and not to overdo things there if I go back. We talked for a good half hour.

Breathlessness
I had an ablation a year ago and probably for the 8 months that followed I noticed I became breathless much easier during
exercise
especially when going uphill or when bending and standing up.

Update to my last post
Plus I
exercise
daily at home even if I go out do my 7 wake up exercises and 300 rotations on my static pedals. If I don't go out do a full 30 mins of different exercises a mix of what we do in class. Thank you to everyone who replied to my question about my blood test results.

one year on and a problem
It’s not
exercise
related as I could go for my morning walk as usual although this morning it took more effort. Has anyone else experienced this?

Importance of Cardiovascular Disease Risk Factors
I raised the issue that I didn't have any of the other modifiable cardiovascular disease risks such as smoking/high alcohol level/
exercise
etc but they seemed fixated on the BP reading.

My approach ever since my diagnosis has been to try to assess the probabilities that a certain diet or
exercise
or drug or procedure will help me to live longer. I personally do not insist on only clinical trial results. That seems to me to be putting on.
