Worst 11 days in hospital I ever had.
After a rest during last winter I returned to
cycling
in our spring, September, and got weight little lower and got speed up and up to 15 days ago I was doing real well on the bike and I was fully healthy again.

Gunnersbury Park parkrun - No. 13
That said, I have been working on my upper body strength, running at the gym as much as I can, and
cycling
between rain showers. So the frequency is down, but the variety is definitely up. All in, I am really (pleasantly) shocked at getting a PB. Totally didn't expect that.

Does every achievement lead to another target ... or is that just me!
All the
cycling
and chair cardio really must have helped over the four-month layoff š When I got home my Osterley 10k race bib was waiting for me. Iāve only run one 10k event before and came in in one hour and 6 seconds; at the time I thought sub 1 hour for my next one should be a breeze.

Osterley Park 10k race report (and rambling reflection)
When I started
cycling
in the boot, I received so much encouragement here, I still felt included and supported despite not running a step. So many people said I could come back stronger and, whilst I appreciated it hugely, I didnāt believe itš¤Ŗ. Well ā guess what? It seems you were right!

How long should I give nexplanon
I was having horrendous post period pain when tri-
cycling
my combined pill (marvelon) which lasted about a week and left me crying when I tried to pee, so I was pretty miserable. My endo specialist said I need a progesterone only form of contraception (not the mini pill as it's not strong enough).

How do I talk to my Father-in-Law?
Prior to his
cycling
accident nearly 6 years ago, he never sat still. He was always out and about,
cycling
, visiting pubs, socialising etc. Now all he does is sit in front of the TV. I don't know what to do with him, and neither does his wife, who is now his full-time carer. Any advice?

Finally took the plunge and started a self-trial of Levothryoxine (after 12 months procrastination)
But now I am already feeling the benefit from the thyroxine and have been outside walking and
cycling
in very cold and inclement weather, with what I would consider to be a "normal" number of layers on! No need for gloves and hat!!

I'm Amazed
Another calf twang around week 6 (this would be beginning of October- very much not a straightforward 9 weeks for me) took me out of action for a couple of weeks, but by then I was trying to stretch properly both pre and post run and was
cycling
a bit as well just to get out.

I will be
cycling
later today or tomorrow to make use of the brief sunny spell, then back to the gym Monday or Tuesday for a proper session on the treadmill.

Is it angina?
Been to my doctor, with suffering breathless and pain in chest and shoulder blade when walking and
cycling
. She's put it down to angina. Given me medication and a spray, also ECG which seemed fine Yet had no further examination with this so I am quite confused if I have this condition or not.

Iāve been
cycling
and going to the gym doing weights. 3) Sleep - let your body sleep, it seems to need it. 4) Change your habits - donāt sit down in the same seat you normally have a smoke, I havenāt been drinking as much coffee or alcohol because I associate smoking massively with both of these things

The man from Stoke Mandeville, he say 'yes' ā ā ā
yes, I've discovered a love for
cycling
(well,
cycling
with Strava to be more precise š) and that will certainly help with future cross training efforts. Have I anything to be grateful for?

I am a year round

Losing Weight as a Coeliac?
I weekly do some racket sports and
cycling
(3-4 times a week) as exercise but I'm just not losing any weight. So clearly my diet has got to be the issue! Particularly snack food that isn't just and always fruit!
