Is it angina?

Been to my doctor, with suffering breathless and pain in chest and shoulder blade when walking and cycling. She's put it down to angina. Given me medication and a spray, also ECG which seemed fine Yet had no further examination with this so I am quite confused if I have this condition or not. Is this just a precaution?

I would be asking for referral to rapid access chest pain clinic. I’m not sure just giving you GTN is how it works. I would check NICE guidelines for chest pains as you describe and go back to doc.

A resting ECG in a doctor’s surgery is pointless unless you’re actually experiencing pain, and classic angina is pain on exertion which goes off with rest and the meds!
