Pacemaker post op recovery timescale?
Last time I built up walking gradually to end up to be back on the local mountains after 6 week, was about to start
cycling
on & off road, was gonna leave climbing etc til a few month. Also play guitar and wondered if that shoulder movement should be left for a few weeks..

Fed up
Hello Up untill August last year I was
cycling
100 miles a week then in October my asthma started to get bad and caught an apparent Rsv virus which I was hospitalised in early Dec. Since then my asthma hasn't been right at all and been on and off prednisolone.

IBS D and cycling
I've got some time on my hands at the moment lol so have been indoor
cycling
4 or 5 times a week for 3 months now for anywhere from half hour to an hour. It's occurred to me that apart from a Xmas flare up that my IBS is a lot better i.e. no real pains and I can take reduced medication.

The next morning I decided to go out
cycling
to explore the area. I was on my own when I usually go
cycling
with my daughter. The weather was not looking too promising so I wondered if I would be wise to go. I am so pleased I did because I found this wonderful cove with grey seals breeding.

injury!
Since graduating 12 months ago, I've been running pretty much every weekday and
cycling
on the weekend. Never felt better or fitter, until three weeks ago while out running I felt a pain in my groin, after visiting doctor yesterday I've been diagnosed with a groin strain.

Iβm also enjoying running without pressure of an impending event ( my cycle event has also been cancelled so there is really no pressure on the
cycling
either, but I'll try to stick to plan and hit the 100k by end May if possible) and I get to run more often as my distances are lower.

Move to Veramapril from bisoprolol
Night and day so much better and thought that this was it ππ But,
cycling
home on Monday night (only two miles) felt big ectopic but carried on. Fast forward to midnight and bang afib and the usual speed thumping and breathless. Off to A@E 5 hrs later and a Digoxin home still in af but better.

W4R2, starting to get twitchy on rest days!
I ended up going to the gym on Sunday morning to do some
cycling
and light running on the treadmill - that's a first for me! Did W4R2 last night after a crazy day - my flight was cancelled (thanks Dennis!) so I had to catch numerous trains to get to my work meeting.

Is this IBS or something more serious?
Before I started
cycling
I didn't get an urge to go to the toilet I tried to empty bowels without any urge in the morning or evening but after
cycling
I noticed that I get that urge for BM and I think I'm not that constipated.

Struggling with Thyroid Levels
She was
cycling
on T3 from 7.5 mg to 90 or 105 mg and back down every 5 to 6 weeks. Her symptoms improved and she was doing much better. Looked the picture of health when I left her at university in August 2019. Six weeks later, after a very stressful time with a roommate, she crashed.

Iβm struggling with motivation for my
cycling
so on Friday I posted a Facebook βpity pleaβ for my fundraising ride: in return for just one donation I promised to cycle 40k this weekend whatever the weather! My βfriendsβ responded with Β£100 in donations so it had to be done!

Patches
As I enjoy
cycling
I have tried patches to relieve discomfort in my shoulders /arms (particullarly on right side) : Cold patch - not much use; uncomfortable. Heat patch - a liitle help to the circulation , especially when its cold out there on a bike. But you can't sleep with these patches on.

Fit is Fun!! Monday 17/02/2020 to Sunday 23/02/2020
Whether it is running, walking,
cycling
, or gym or anything just tell us all about it and also tell us about your goals for next week. This is not a competition and the idea is to declare your own plans to get/keep fit and get encouragement and support from fellow members.

Cake, slugs, butterflies, beer... and a 5K
I think we saw perhaps three cars... my son said he appreciated
cycling
much more without cars on the road. He also observed more birdsong and butterflies and asked if people being in their houses was helping nature?

Advice after preliminary diagnosis of probable RA
I am usually very active - I walk our dogs daily, do gym exercise a couple of times a week, go skiing,
cycling
etc but even walking around town picking up shopping yesterday resulted in foot and leg pain. I need a plan as the thought of feeling like this every day for ever more is really stressful.

What should I call it? Can you help? :D
. :)
Cycling
to the stadium my legs ached and felt heavy, but what the heck. A few minutes of running at least keeps me in the game. I so want to do this. My lungs felt a bit freer again, once I got through the toxic 10s.
