Since graduating 12 months ago, I've been running pretty much every weekday and cycling on the weekend. Never felt better or fitter, until three weeks ago while out running I felt a pain in my groin, after visiting doctor yesterday I've been diagnosed with a groin strain. Any advise on recovery would be greatly appreciated, recovery time, how soon can I run again, can I just resume where I left off or is it back to baby steps again

Firstly rest up and then when you get back to running ease back and avoid running on consecutive days until you are fully recovered.
have you read the guide to post C25k running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... in which the recommendation that consecutive days running should be approached with caution for new runners.
