Coach potato to hot potato
I've done yoga, Pilates, hiked, climbed mountains, skiied but it's not a regular thing and I get bored or suffer an
injury
which makes me
back
off. This has been (on the whole) running every other day for seven weeks.

Getting my 5-6 miles in!!
Since my
back
injury
(Sept) and my DVT (Feb), I hadn't been able to get back to my very active self. This past week I was not only able to walk two walks a day at 2-3 miles each, but pain free!! I also did a long 6.5 miles on Sunday!

Getting back after injury
I’ve been on the IC for 2 weeks following knee pain and am ready to get back out there. I reached run 2 of week 6 before the injury and not sure where I should pick up from. Do I go back to week 1?

Which app to use?? B210K?
I’ve done 10’s and half’s in the past but due to
injury
stopped, now getting
back
into it, so which app do you fellow runners use for the B210K? Seen a number of them but want recommendations so that I don’t falter on my forward journey.

Body not picking-up on tablets
Hi. This is my first post. I have a problem with Receptors, resulting in depression tablets being totally ineffective. Is this due to my 23yrs of diagnosed ataxia? None of the tablets work, even a little. Even Ativan has no effect whatever. I just wonder if it's Ataxia related and if it's the same with

It’s been a while!
Last run was 26th August, and even then those runs had only been a couple of 2ks (leg was sore and didn’t want to risk
injury
). Today I went
back
to the gym where I first started running (not very successfully) over a year ago.

Starting again...
I originally started C25K
back
in August 2014, graduating in the November (an
injury
held me up for a few weeks). After graduation I carried on running 3 times a week over the next few months. Then I started going to Parkrun in March of 2015.

Finally got there for the second time!
I did it, through 3 false starts and illness and
injury
I just went right
back
to the beginning. Last night I finally got there. Thanks to the excellent app, Laura of course, and this group for being virtual running companions too :-). Next stop 5k (I’m a slow runner and no where near 5 k yet)

I'm a 40 something who had a

Frustrated
After doing my first 5k and Park run at the same time which took me 42 mins I was then off with a foot
injury
for over 2 months. Have now started
back
running (well actually more of a slow trot) I am finding it really hard going, today I managed to do 5K but it took me nearly 47 mins.

Unidentifed pain in lower right abdomen
I've even had it suggested it might be a form of sciatica, but I don't suffer from any
back
problems or
back
injury
. So, has anyone experienced anything similar, or got any suggestions? "Yours puzzled"

Seriously questioning my doctor, need your advice!
She told me I was fine to start my antidepressant
back
up that only people with kidney
injury
can improve GFR and creatinine. I just don't know about doctors anymore. I don't know how to find a good one. I do not want to go back to letting this disease progress without a fight.

Feel a bit down
I told the (nice, pleasant, friendly, helpful) gym guy that I wasn't coming
back
until after Saturday - I can't let any stupid
injury
picked up at the gym to derail my C25K graduation Parkrun on Saturday. Now I want to eat cake and watch TV. That's not going to help, is it!

Hi anyone tryed a vibroplate?
Im wondering if a vibro plate will help keep muscle tone, anyone got one? I’m scared of making my pain worse. Got shin splints at the moment, its one of the worst things ever and as normal nothing triggered it off.

Hospital docs reading notes after I've left!!!
Went for routine rheumatology appointment a few weeks ago. The doc dropped something on the floor as I walked in. She went down on hands and knees to pick it up but was down there for a few minuets to the point I asked if I should help, no she replied. I'm not used to doctors waving their bums at me
