Coming back after injury - what now?
Advice needed please :) I reached and completed W7 R1 and then a big chap stomped on my foot on the packed tube and fractured the head of my first metatarsal. It was jolly painful and meant I could barely walk, so no running. Ok now after 6 weeks, but what do I do about C25k? Can I restart at W6R1 or

Week 9 Run 3
A
back
injury
last August meant several months of inactivity, overeating, and a fair bit of feeling sorry for myself. I was worried that this would be my life now - unfit, overweight and miserable.

Super Ubiquinol 100 mg
Hi everyone, My Tinnitus noises reduced a lot since three weeks. I have started using Super Ubiquinol 100 mg. It is not completely gone, but the Ubiquinol gives me a HUGE relief. I can cope with it now. I have read that it's important to use ubiquiNOL and not ubiquiNON. I wish everyone around here a

A day I will never forget
I hope no one minds me posting this link but I am amazingly proud of my Daughter Rhoslyn who graduated this week with first class honours. She has battled anorexia nervosa for a number of years and was in an eating disorders unit when I was diagnosed in 2016. She came out of hospital and accompanied

Looking for research on Chorea and APS Please
Hello everyone, thank you for the ongoing support all of you provide for us all here on the forum. Just got back from the OHSU in Portland Oregon. The specialists have tossed Chorea onto the table with the APS diagnosis. Searching for information so I may learn how to navigate properly through this

Burning pain in muscles - recovering from v low t3 episode
My energy is back, but my right arm, although better, still has numbness and rotator cuff
injury
and burning sensations in upper arm. My
back
also has burning sensations when I have to lift my toddler age daughter to get her in her pram. I’m still very weak compared to how I was.

Week Six Complete but struggling with Asthma. Anyone else?
I suffer with chronic
back
pain after an
injury
and surgery so avoided running. I’m paying for that today too but find my body has adjusted over time so should do again.

Week 6 run 2 - back injury
First 10 minutes went well. Then 6 minutes into to second run I twisted round to check for traffic at a junction and got a pain in my lower back. Completed the run without too much pain but lower back is very sore now. Hot bath, Ibuprofin gel and light stretches for a few days before I attempt R3. It

Sad singer is loving this.
I had an
injury
at week five and had to go
back
to the beginning and start again but I persevered! I’ve had two knee surgeries and many injuries from doing the same thing onstage night after night.

Mannitol challenge
Hi all, I had a mannitol challenge but didn't react the consultant said this would prove I had asthma, because I didn't react does that mean i don't have asthma? What else could it be? I'm 32 and was diagnosed with asthma as a baby (9 months old)

Occupational therapy appointment and PIP question
I have been thinking about putting in an application for PIP for support with difficulties caused by SLE/Raynauds's/back and leg issues. I am currently self employed but am failing to function well enough to earn anywhere near what I need to be bringing in to pay my share of the bills. I'm struggling

tendon and muscle pain.
A few years
back
I had a rotator cuff
injury
to my right shoulder which was treated with a steroid injection. Now the same thing has happened to my left shoulder and I don`t fancy having to wait months for another hospital appointment for another injection.

Surgery questions
First two only bruises ( hip and
back
) last night was a hand
injury
. He's transitioning to using his wheelchair most of the time, but he got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and fell. He dislocated his finger and it tore the skin and exposed tendons.

Coach potato to hot potato
I've done yoga, Pilates, hiked, climbed mountains, skiied but it's not a regular thing and I get bored or suffer an
injury
which makes me
back
off. This has been (on the whole) running every other day for seven weeks.
