I just called the Traumatic Brain
Injury
Service coordinator to try and get
back
into contact with the group. Now events, not having any friends and insecurities have been weighing on me and have made me realize that I need support.

High LDH
Hi all, I’m trying not to freak out on this Christmas Eve. I have Myelofibrisis for the last 5 years. I’m on wait and watch with aspirin. I just had labs done which show my LDH is 2450. I see on previous labs 2 years ago it was 780. From what I’m reading that sounds like leukemia. Does anyone have it

Post-injury run and getting-back-to-it thoughts
Hi folks, As some of you may know, I had an unfortunte experience with some insoles, which put me right back, and meant that for the past month I've run way less than I was. Oh, what happened? Right, well, I got a second pair of running shoes for Christmas, some CloutVenture Waterproof trail shoes from

Hi, I have arthritis in my knees and feet, I have just recovered from a knee
injury
back
in July. I have just done my 2nd ‘run’ of week 1 but my knee was not stable enough the first run so I felt a bit disheartened. Today I was brave and managed one 60 second hobble ha!

30th Parkrun and new course PB.
It has been a long road with months on the
injury
couch and trying to get
back
up to running 5K after months away. Since the start of January I have been committed to losing weight, running more often and getting faster.

A Time to Reflect & Be Grateful For What You Have (and Have Had)
Hi Everybody, Just thought I would drop you all a quick line, as its been a while. I personally find Christmas the most difficult time of year. Its a time to reflect on the year, and with great anxious anticipation, desperately wonder what next year has lined up for us. Its been a bump ol' ride of late

Martin's first TRP administration!.
Thank you for all your feedback on the TRP ring relief, I put the drops into my husband's ears on his wishes, 3 in each ear. I will repeat every day and see what happens. His T is worse than mine generally. He is 48 with no hearing loss or damage. He does work with power tools nearly everyday. As I'm

Back on track
After a horrendous start to 2019 I think I'm
back
with a chance of running the HM in April.
Injury
(knee) and flu stopped me running for about 3 weeks. After physio and some good advice I'm back on the road clocking up the miles.

Constantly freezing cold
My mum diagnosed 12 months ago with CBD..she is constantly freezing cold..heating on full blast in the house and an electric fire beside her...her right "alien" hand is like ice block and blue in colour...she wears a warm glove in doors and a padded jacket...is this all normal for CBD

EGPA/CSS with Thymoma
HI all, One of my early CTs soon after diagnosis of EGPA/Churg-Strauss Syndrome was of the chest, to look at lungs, as I also had breathing problems (asthma, pneumonia). The radiologist report included a finding of a mediastinal mass - it appeared to be encapsulated and wrapped around my thymus. Thymoma

exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction (EILO), has been shown to improve
For those people who have asthma symptoms whose doctors can’t seem to help , read up on exercise induced laryngeal obstruction. Dr Hull at the Royal Brompton is an expert on the subject. I was reading an article about it and he was saying that’s it very common that people go u diagnosed for years and

Didn’t get 100% success at last night’s London forum although to be fair my Where’s Wally shirt was hidden under my coat for some of the time and I do look scary! Nice to meet Alison, Paivi, Susana, Melanie, Ala and Katherine (again!) as well as catch up with Pauline B who has been an MF-er for several

Trying to get back into running following an Achilles injury,
Hi All, Having graduated from C25K last summer (surprising myself in the process, being 64 years old with no previous running experience to speak of), I followed up with a few 5k runs and six parkruns. I was chuffed to bits with this, but in November I damaged my Achilles tendon and had to give up running

CBD
Sadly my wife was diagnosed with CBD few months ago. My wife & I attended the family & friends conference in Windsor. At this meeting there were 4 people with CBD. I spoke a male who had CBD at the break from Thornton in Somerset, at the time I didn't think to ask him his name or details, now I would
