NRAS is pleased to let you know of an opportunity to take part in research being conducted at the University of Huddersfield into the chronic lower back pain.

This study is looking at determining biomarkers of chronic lower back pain from blood samples, which will involve comparisons between people with specific chronic lower back pain, non-specific chronic lower back pain, those who are healthy and those who have inflammatory pain conditions.

If you have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), can spare 90 minutes and would like to take part in the research to improve diagnosis and treatment of pain, then please see if you are eligible to participate by reading more here: bit.ly/2Ls1zUY

Hi Katie.. I’ve taken part in a couple of these types of things now. It’s a great shame we never get any feedback after doing them though! There was one I did a while ago i can’t remember all the details but think it was for Manchester Uni..I did pages of stuff but never heard a thing back..maybe that’s the point of it but it puts me off a bit now.
