Martin's first TRP administration!.

Thank you for all your feedback on the TRP ring relief, I put the drops into my husband's ears on his wishes, 3 in each ear. I will repeat every day and see what happens. His T is worse than mine generally. He is 48 with no hearing loss or damage. He does work with power tools nearly everyday. As I'm sat here typing, my T is quite bothersome in my left ear. I have been stressed over the last couple of days and have had a few glasses of wine. I Had a tipple to ease the stress ,although wine can make my T worse, and stress definitely does ! It will settle by tomorrow. Anyway I'll keep you posted on the results of the drops. I'm very sceptical...we'll see. we're both very positive people, having overcome many life traumas which has a huge influence on how we cope with life in general, and that has been our best medicine so far x

So this is the 3rd thread you've started about this?

What do you mean? x

Oh..I see what you mean. I use a reply to my own initial post to speak more about the same subject instead of writing a new post. I get it now. I don't use forums very often and don't use social media. Maybe that's why I'm not getti g the format. I think you got angry with me before because I didn't use edit. Sorry , I won't do it again. I'm learning! x

And can you please be kind , rude boy when you are telling people they are doing something wrong. A little kindness goes a long way, particularly when people are suffering. x

I try Hayley, I really do, especially on this forum. However, I come on here because I'm struggling with severe tinnitus that's leading me to consider ending my life and the shiny, happy stuff you post about your 'positive attitude' and your habituation after 10minutes doesn't improve my state of mind.

A little consideration for others who may be struggling a tad more than you would go a long way.

And it's Ruud, not Rude.

I'm truly sorry for how much you are suffering . I have been in very dark places in my past, believe me, over other health issues. We're just in different places now. I hope so very much things improve. I feel confident they will find a cure.

Love Hayley x

Btw..I know it is Ruud. I was being sarcastic. Not something I usually am.

Good luck Martin with the TRP ear drops. Hayley, is he taking the TRP meds along with the ear drops? I googled TRP and it’s an American product and users comments were that the drops needed to be taken along with meds, either pills or capsules. I also noted many comments by users saying the product was useless. Anyway lots of good luck to Martin and keep us posted of any success (or failure).

We will Sid. He's just having the TRP ring relief drops. 3 in each ear just once a day atm. It will be interesting to see over Xmas, as he has a week off work, no use of power tools. There were 2 people on here that found they really helped. I don't know of the oral stuff you mention. These 2 members were just using the drops.

Maybe it’s just typical USA hard sell type of action to buy 2 products and use at same time. If you google TRP one of the links is a YouTube video of a woman who swears by use of TRP drops taken along with meds of same name. It could be one of these many “cures” that works for some but not for others. Good luck to you and Martin. PS my name is Joe and I only use HissingSid as a username here as it’s my nickname for my T sounds!

Yes..I remember the you tube vid, now. A youngish woman. And yes I agree. He he, I wondered if Sid was your name . Joe is a nice name! x

The TRP ring relief was administered over 3 weeks. Just once in the evening in both of Martin's ears. As suspected, and as many of you said there would be, no improvement at all. They were only £8 thank goodness. Martin works with noisy power tools all day, so maybe someone who's life didn't involve constant high levels of noise may have a different result. I daren't try it. I seem to be coping with my T well. x
