Yahoo! C25k is one of the best things I have ever done. It is truly amazing. It has been a long road with months on the injury couch and trying to get back up to running 5K after months away. Since the start of January I have been committed to losing weight, running more often and getting faster. I have lost 9Kg, knocked 6 mins off my 5K time and today got a new PB on my home Parkrun course, improving by over a minute.
2 years ago I was a complete couch potato. Now I’m a Parkrun addict and I am pushing to get my Red 50 Parkrun T-Shirt this summer, which I will wear with pride. Thanks to all on this forum C25K plan and Parkrun. If this once lazy lump can do it anyone can.

Great going! I just did my first park run this morning....not a blistering pace but I did set my own personal record for two miles on my strava app😂😂. All joking aside I think the park runs are amazing and you’ve given me an aim, I’d like a t shirt and 9 kilos off as well
A couple of days ago I got 9 Kgs in weights and lifted them. It’s no wonder I’m getting faster. If I had to carry the weights around a 5K course it would take me ages.
Congratulations on your first Parkrun. It’s a great way to kick off a weekend. Congratulations also on your PB time.
