Run on hard or soft ground?
What's the general consensus: running on hard ground or running on soft for joints,
back
, ankle
injury
prevention? Any thoughts/experiences most appreciated!

"You, boy! What day is it today?"
I'm sure I'll aggressively throw wads of money at them for any gear that comes with sweet-nothing promises of
injury
-prevention and then get straight
back
on this horse.

Jogging after cruciate ligament tear? Anyone?
I just wondered if anyone has been able to get
back
to jogging again after such an
injury
and without surgery? And if so how long did it take you, how did you get on and any tips etc etc? I am no longer with a physio as didn't feel it was useful at all after 6 months of going.

I am not sure how to read the results, but I am thinking it goes like this. Any concerns I should have with these numbers? Still have symptoms but they look good besides the airway resitent nuber at 66. Thanks for any feedback I have zero idea how to read these. FVC 5.75/5.70 99% FEV1 4.70/4.53 96%

3rd 5K
It’s taken some time to build back up to 5K, and has taken me a few weeks of running and walking 5K before I got
back
to running it all. I was on the
injury
couch from April until September due to a

injury

Happy New Year!
I think I have missed about 6 or 7 weeks since beginning due to health and
injury
but I have kept going
back
to it which has never happened to me before. I am really pleased about that as I am usually one of life's quitters!! Lol. Maybe I will push myself further next year and maybe I won't.

Struggling 😦!
I graduated pain and
injury
free a few weeks
back
. Since then I have done several consolidation runs and can easily run for 30 minutes but what is happening to my legs? During, after and the next day of a run I am in agony. My calves and instep are so painful and I don’t understand why.

Half Marathon Plan: STRATEGY! Body scanning, race planning, pacing, and eating & drinking 💥
Do you think they could be leading to
injury
?
If so, rein
the training and investigate (
prevention strategy). ★
Which parts of a run are easiest and which are harder?
Are you getting tired too quickly?

Back on track
Back on track after taking a week's break because of a
back
injury
. I repeated runs from Weeks 3 and 4, and have now done W5 runs 1 and 2. For run 3 I'm planning to run round a local lake - so no hills! Running makes my back feel great too.

Back after injury (Warning, this post contains images of new shoes)
What I like about C25K is that it is great for coming
back
after an
injury
. Through August and September I got
back
up to 5k using runs from weeks 3 to 9. I have now been running 5k three times a week for the past 4-5 weeks.

Aimovig
I wanted to let people know about the success I've had after my first Aimovig injection. I self injected on September 19 (my first of two free samples). I've only taken three Amerge (for migraine) since. The first two Amerge were during the first four days after the shot, but they say it takes 6 days

WeightLoss struggles
However, after facing
back
injury
due to the gym, I have found it extremely difficult to get back onto the routine. I have gained a few kgs and now oscillating at 110kgs. So that’s my story so far, quite frustrated with this struggle.

Feeling like a guinea pig! (newbie post please be kind!)
WCB ( work
injury
) I am over 60 ,
back
to work almost full time. 36 hours a week as opposed to 40 pre-injury. Every practitioner seems to have a different idea of what will help me. So each new assessment sort of terrifies me!

to sorting yourself out as the government will do nothing for you is just what

Old back injury niggles
Then overnight, as is usually the case when this happens, my old
back
injury
has flared up. This happens once or twice a year on average, my lower back muscles go into spasm and it takes a few days to gradually wear off with stretching, back exercises and not sitting still for too long.

Can Hypothyroidism explain all my symptoms? B6 Toxicity? Help!
A little unusual, but fairly classic signs of a
back
injury
. I ended up getting an injection which did not help. I did a few months of physical therapy and my back symptoms seemed to improve, but my muscle fatigue in my hips/glutes was getting worse.
