Fibromyalgia Advice
Hi, I'd just like to ask some advice on fibromyalgia and what I should do in my current situation. I've been told by a rheumatology specialist that most likely my health problems are fibromyalgia but that he "doesn't want to give me that label because it's seen very negatively in the medical community

Head pain help!!
Will try and keep this short as I know it will be boring! Two years ago I started suffering headaches on the top of my head like a burning pressure. MRI normal, CT normal and MRI neck showed small disc bulge at C5-C6 not causing this pain apparently. Tried amitriptyline with no help and eventually

She suggested I try Amitriptyline. I am not really keen on taking another tablet and wondered if anyone else was on this and

I was recently diagnosed with this. It had been going on since March, went to EVERY HOSPITAL AND 6 different dentists to find out why my teeth were burning, MY OWN DENTIST being lazy told me to quit smoking. IBS flare up
I've had an IBS flare up which has happened after increasing fibre in my diet. when I went to the doctor I saw a different doctor than my own and I asked to be prescribed amitriptyline tablets. They work for me but I was met with reluctance to be prescribed them. In the end I stuck to my guns and was

Pain/Fatigue in Vasculitis (even when other symptoms are under control)
Firstly, can I say that this forum has been invaluable over the last 9 months in making progress with my own health issues. I have found so many threads really useful. I know from searches of the forum that pain/fatigue in Vasculitis come up at regular intervals on the forum but I would be very interested

IBS
Started taking Amitriptyline 10mg for abdominal pains which are most likely IBS although haven't had a definitive diagnosis yet as it could be neuropathy associated with my diabetes. The Amitriptyline has helped a great deal with the pains but now have severe sleep problems, don't want to stop taking
