More mixed messages about paracetamol and Gabapentin!! Getting frustrated.
I had breakfast with my cousin this morning, who is also a GP at the same practice where I was told on Tuesday to take Gabapentin instead of Amitriptyline. My cousin asked me why I had been prescribed Gabapentin, so I recapped what happened last week. About my paracetamol over use (for 10+ years) and

I tend not to go doctors for everything! I don’t like to be a burden really and I do try self help, but I’m exhausted due to this on going sleep problem I’ve had for about 2 years now. I full asleep exhausted, and wake up at stupid o’clock wide awake. I take 25mg Amitriptyline nightly. The longer

Could it be that I've changed my antidepressent to morning?
I've just realised that I still feel a bit out of it this morning and it couldn't possibly be from taking that one dose of Amitriptyline 36 hours ago. Then I remembered I've also changed taking my Citalopram 10mg from nighttime to morning, as my nurse said the Citalopram can cause insomnia. But it can

Any experience of Amitriptyline?
As I’ve only been taking it a few days it’s too early to tell if it will help with the back and joint pain, early indications are quite good, but then it does have antidepressant qualities.

Hot Liquid Feeling In Head (Left Side)
I have been having a lot of head problems lately and I want to know if anyone else has had the same or similar symptoms. At first, it started as a really awful headache on the left side of my head where it burned down the left side of my hair part, I went to Urgent Care and they told me it was do to

Cutaneous Vasculitis
Hi all Back in early 2015 I had the most awful rash and raised itchy lumps over the lower part of my legs. I went to my GP who suggested treating the whole family for Scabies. After many tests and appointments later and biopsies they confirmed Cutaneous Vasculitis. Back in 2018 from July to December

Any advice please
I have been taking Pramipexole for a few months now with little or no relief. Previous to this I was taking Pergolide which worked perfectly for many years however now it is unavailable so I'm having to try alternatives. On top of this I've had a knee replacement and when the restless legs start
