Frankincense Oil
Hi all, I am having a very tough time at the moment. I've had a constant migraine since around April 2015. I'm awaiting a lumbar puncture to check pressures and then a release of fluid for increased intracranial pressure. On MST & oramorph (and warfarin) but unfortunately the morphine is not helping

NEW YEAR!!!!!
Decided not to celebrate the new year as Santa didn't get me a new spine and I have been good all year lol! But on a more serious note, why should I celebrate another year of pain and fatigue. Knocking back all these medications and they don't do a thing for the pain. Well the amitriptyline does stop

Amitriptyline and IBS
Has anyone any experience with using amitriptyline for IBS? I was on it for a brief period several years ago but stopped after a week due to side effects. I've read online since that these usually subside after 3 weeks. I've been really struggling with my IBS since starting a new job two months ago.

Medication help needed
I was diagnosed with M.E about 13 years ago, but in the last 3 years I have started to suffer from upper back pain and also a pain in my thumb. The back pain is so bad it is waking me up in the middle of the night. I was told a few years ago that I probably have fibromyalgia, so I am not sure 100% if

Pudendal nerve
I could do with some advice, especially from anyone who has PN. I've had this nearly 7 years now, after a clumsy surgeon operating on me for a prolapse but he wouldn't believe me when I said I was in agony after, so because of his refusal it took years to find out what was wrong. I've had nerve blocks

Symptoms returning despite self injecting every other day - advice please
Hi all Not posted for a while as now very, very poorly with adrenal insufficiency. Oh God, will it never end? I had a late diagnosis with neuro symptoms and the doctors refused to diagnose (though finally have). However, decided to self inject every other day, which I have doing so with methylcobalamin

Hello Angelhope71
For me Amitriptyline is great reducing my migraines from more than 10 days a month to usually under 3 days a month! After visiting the NMC I was prescribed Amitriptyline starting on a low dose and then increasing to 35mg for 2-3 weeks, then 40mg for 2-3 weeks and was told that if I had no increased

Amitriptyline experiences?
Hi all, I just found this forum and it has been an absolute godsend. I started getting migraines in my teens, but only ~2/month, always in the first few days of my period (menstrual migraine). Over the years, the migraines have been increasing in frequency. 15 years later (I'm 30), I am getting >2
