Medication.
After going to the doctor's yesterday I was told that if you are on amitriptyline it can cause dementia, has anyone else been told this. I'm quite concerned as I've been on it since 2012.

Nortriptyline advice
Hi everyone, I hope you’re all okay and having a low pain day. I’m just home from seeing the specialist (a very long awaited appointment) I actually came out feeling listened to and have a treatment plan in place. One thing he’s done is changed my amitriptyline to nortriptyline. I just wanted to ask

Advice
Hi All, I have hearing loss in both ears and have tinnitus all the time. This is a difficult challenge for us all. The doctors just put you on betahistine or amitriptyline or alprazolam or any anti depressants they say it helps reduce tinnitus or improve blood flow to inner ear. This is the same

teeth clenching
I’m titrating NDT Armour over the last year but I’ve got a hypo symptom that’s bothering me, nighttime teeth clenching. I have no knowledge I’m doing this. I take amitriptyline and once I get to sleep midnight to 1am, I’m out for the count. I think the dentist told me September 2023 that I was clenching

Pain relief during Period
I have daily pain throughout any stage of my cycle all day everyday. I recently started taking codeine and amitriptyline when it got to point I couldn't cope anymore. This was about 3 weeks ago. It doesnt remove the pain its still bad but takes a small edge off sometimes and I figure I needed to give

PMR since July 2018 and down to 1mg. Enter GCA
My Bio is pretty well up to date, until a week ago. Quick summary of things is: I'm ok, vision ok, diagnosed with GCA, and I've gone from 1mg (nearly done...or so I thought) to 60mg. Now on my third day of 60mg and waiting on new bloods I did today and a call from the consultant tomorrow to discuss

40+ years of Exhausting Fibro!!
Hi everyone, I have not been on this forum for a long time now due to declining health and numerous personal stuff (all pretty traumatic/stressful unfortunately!) Anyway, in early February this year I developed a really painful right arm/shoulder that I felt wasn't fibro-related. Local chiropractor said

Duloxetine or Amitriptyline and sore gums
Hope everyone is well as can be ☺️ I was wondering if anyone on Duloxetine or Amitriptyline experiences sore gums?
