FSH going from 8 to 43 just in few weeks while preparing for a FET, is it temporary or menopause?

Hi Ladies

Can anyone help put a light to my issue of FSH going from 8 to 43 just in 2-3 weeks while I was doing tests before a frozen transfer. I am devastated as I cannot find a logic to this.

Background

I am preparing for a FET cycle but my hormons all of a sudden messed up besides my thin lining issue. ( had a major surgery on uterus last year removed some parts of it due to adenomyosis so it is still healing )

My RE keep telling me FSH high you got menopause but it doesn’t make sense for me as this happend all of a sudden vs all I read says the menopause is a process over multiple years not immediate. FSH 43 is indeed a menopause but not happening overnight.

I had regular cycles and regular ovulations with FSH 8 and all other hormons fine as well up until last month. Just this cycle suddenly my FSH shows as 43 and the week after raised to 50, also LH high progesterone and estrogen low. There are multiple follicles but non growing for ovulation, so everything seems as a shut down!

I am in my mid forties and dr thinks is normal for me to go to menopause but my genes prooves opposite , my mom had still periods in her early 60s until she had a hysterectomy and my sister being 50 still has regular cycles. Though for me makes sense if I get it earlier bcuz of endometriosis and multiple ivf cycles lots of drugs and operations. I went on 9 month Triptorelin injections( GNRH like lupron Zoladex etc) and 6 months on add back therapy and birth control pills after having a major surgery last year to remove Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, cysts adhesions etc. Although in my last ultrasound the sizes of ovaries are normal showing still about 4-6 anrtral follicles each month.

I am confused why this happend as I got my regular cycle back ontime, 5 weeks after stopping all drugs and hormones back in March this year just cycles a bit longer around 30-35 days . I got 4 periods and all of a sudden they stopped.

There are other factors involved I am thinking might interfere with my cycles. I was seeing a naturopath and taking multiple supplements including a one for thyroid as my thyroglubin antibody was high around 250 , tsh t3 t4 all normal. The supplement had kelp iodin selenium etc. took it for 6 weeks and when I saw FSH high I stopped. I am not diagnosed officially with any thyroid issue my tsh is 0.5 but still in range. my RE says you shouldn’t take iodin. Plus I was super stressed for months due to family issues and other extreme conditions.

I would like to know if anyone had a similar sudden change in FSH and what it is menopause or not, or similar experiences . Is it possible to go back to normal, should I take herbs like vitex etc? My naturopath gave me those but I stopped after a week bcuz dr gave me estradiol for lining to grow. After a hysteroscopy and a biopsy in late May I diagnosed with endometrisis, chronic infection of uterus, bcuz I had a metal barrier put in to prevent adhesions after surgery, now we need to do another biopsy to check if it healed after antibiotics , the lining is very thin between 4 to 5 mm.

Long post but I wanted to give a summary of what I have been through if anyone have experienced similar or knows something to share pls.

Any insight would be very much appreciated. This site is super cool and helpful always with great ladies on it.

Thanks a lot
