I am currently on day 31 of my cycle and still no sign. Last month I had a chemical pregnancy, on stopping the meds I had my a.flo a few days after, it lasted over a week and was horrid! I'm normally pretty regular. Has anyone else experienced longer cycles after early miscarriage? Thank you for reading x

Hey Abaco, sorry to hear about your chemical. I had a chemical back in June, my first bleed after it lasted 10 days and was awful,my first proper period after came 30 days later, which is normal for me. This month however I'm still waiting, I definitely seemed to ovulate later, though I'm not sure exactly when I did , but I think it must just take a little time to settle back down after all the meds. I'm sure it will come soon for you xo
Thank you so much for your reply so sorry to hear about your chemical, it is truly devastating isn't it. My first bleed was awful and the cramps were terrible too. I reckon I've ovulated a week later then normal so I'm hoping my cycle will start next week sometime. Like yourself I'm normally regular, these meds have a lot to answer for don't they! All the very best to you x
It really is.I think the hardest thing I have found is calling it a chemical,it feels like it wasn't real and somehow doesn't count, but to me it was real and it does count,it was so painful and I really did feel when it implanted and I felt when it was going wrong. Take the time you need to process it, and I hope your period comes soon, it is a bit of a comfort to get that first 1 over with. All the best for your journey xo
Thank you so much, yes I agree chemical makes it sound so clinical. It's so cruel having that sheer elation of finally getting a positive result only for it to be taken off you days later. At least it proves It can work for us! And I'm clinging onto that fact. Just want to get going again it's all the waiting around and feeling your life is in limbo and on hold that's really hard to deal with. X
Yes the dr was really positive on our follow up appointment, it is hard to feel positive, but I guess it is a good sign.Hopefully both mine and your next steps will be successful 🙂we are enjoying the break at mo 🙂xo
Glad your doctor was positive too, have read lots of positive things online which reassures me. We are hoping, if all tests results come back okay, to transfer again late September (that's if my cycles can behave!) what about you? X
I have to go back for another scan to see if polyp is back as they thought they seen 1 during the cycle, if it is they want it removed first so not sure, but think either way we want to wait till next yr,can't quite face the meds yet.September is so soon 🙂really hope it all goes smoothly for you and ends in a bfp 🙂xo
The meds are certainly gruelling! ThInk I just need to get back onto it asap but can really understand why you want to take a break. Ivf is completely all encompassing isn't it!
