Lupron

Simply put: Do Not take Lupron if you have any heart problems.

Anyone else have this experience on Lupron depot and did the cysts resolve on their own? I have never had this issue before and my baseline ultrasound before getting Lupron was normal, so I know it's due to either Lupron or the Letrozole I've been taking daily.

I am switching back to Lupron, but my Urologist wants me to stop Orgovyx and take Bicalutamide for 14 days before getting the Lupron shot. My PSA has risen month after month. My question is why stop the Orgovyx 2 weeks before the Lupron shot? I am also on Lynparza.

I'm on Lupron (Eligard) with a dose every 3 months. I have a trip coming up that overlaps one of my lupron injections by a week. Is it safe to postpone the next lupron injection by 1 week?

My Lupron shot is due 17 Jan 2025 Earliest appointment is 15 Jan 2025 at UCLA Will my new Onc be able to give me a Lupron shot on the 15th, or will I need Medicare preauth??

The urologist started with first injection of Firmagon with Nubeqa and before the end of 28 days wants to switch from Firmagon to Lupron with Nubeqa. I was under impression that Firmagon is better at getting the job done than Lupron? Why switch?

I’ve been on lupron now for three and a half years. My PSA has been undetectable since last November. I asked my OC about going on a lupron vacation and he said it would be fine now to try it. Just wondering if any of you have experienced this and how long before you had to go back on lupron.

I’m thinking about stopping lupron, I have been on lupron continuously since 2016. My T is <3, I would like to feel a little more human. I will keep taking xtandi. At my age of 73, I didn’t think my T well come back very much. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Et

I had 6 months of Lupron (2 prior, 4 after). I tolerated all very well and my T returned 2 months post Lupron. PSA was <0.01 post radiation and on Lupron.

Hi everyone, Is anyone here on Abiraterone and Prednisone with Zometa infusions but without Lupron? My dad's oncologist recently mentioned that he "doesn't need Lupron," which I don’t fully understand.

we are holding back the pc with lupron while treating the lungs. ? is there a chance the pc will spread while on Lupron? I been on only for 3 weeks now. I get round two of chemo and keytruda this week.

Nervous not being proactive.Both MOs agreed only 2 years lupron.

I have been on Lupron and Xtandi for 2 years and 4 months. My lupron injections are for 3 months, and with insurance it is costing me about $1,300 per injection OOP due to my $8,700 total TOOP. I'm thinking about stopping Lupron, it's such a beat down and it's made life very difficult.

I recently had my second Lupron injection, also on Xtandi. I’ve noticed over the past few weeks that my taste buds are off. Anyone experienced something similar?

I am about 5 months into Xtandi and Lupron, and having increasingly difficult constipation. It started after the third month but is becoming more prevalent, now using laxatives. (Otc) Anyone have similar side effects? Any prescription meds helpful?

Question: Will adding Erleada , already taking these 2 drugs (not counting dexa) Abiraterone plus dexa and Quartely lupron injections increase overall survival? triplet, Right now treatment is Abi & Lupron. I'm high volume metastatic. Slowly rising PSA as of July 1.2.

I switched from Lupron to Orgovyx just over a month ago. I had been doing monthly Lupron injections. I finished radiation treatment in June. I've found with Orgovyx that the depression I was experiencing is no longer a side effect and I feel pretty good other than some joint pain and insomnia.
