After one lupron injection psa gone from 4.2 9/24, .16, 11/24, < .05 12/24. Gleason 9 with one aggressive 9 core. Thank god lupron seems to be working well for now. while we address right lung adenocarcinoma. Surgery, bilobectomy 1/25.

Anyone else have this experience on Lupron depot and did the cysts resolve on their own? I have never had this issue before and my baseline ultrasound before getting Lupron was normal, so I know it's due to either Lupron or the Letrozole I've been taking daily.

He also suggests Lupron before radiation, which I am hesitant about. Any feedback about side effects from Lupron would be appreciated.

Simply put: Do Not take Lupron if you have any heart problems.

My Lupron shot is due 17 Jan 2025 Earliest appointment is 15 Jan 2025 at UCLA Will my new Onc be able to give me a Lupron shot on the 15th, or will I need Medicare preauth??

A couple years ago xtandi failed and I started Lupron. My recent PSA’s is trending upward. I’m now at .49. I’ve also had a PSMA showing the cancer has not reached any bones but is localized in pelvic prostate bed region. My question is what are my options after lupron?

I had 6 months of Lupron (2 prior, 4 after). I tolerated all very well and my T returned 2 months post Lupron. PSA was <0.01 post radiation and on Lupron.

I am switching back to Lupron, but my Urologist wants me to stop Orgovyx and take Bicalutamide for 14 days before getting the Lupron shot. My PSA has risen month after month. My question is why stop the Orgovyx 2 weeks before the Lupron shot? I am also on Lynparza.

Wondering if anyone has experience with Lupron hormone therapy and potential side effects.

Or, is the Lupron starting to fail? Thanks for any advice.

I'm on Lupron (Eligard) with a dose every 3 months. I have a trip coming up that overlaps one of my lupron injections by a week. Is it safe to postpone the next lupron injection by 1 week?

The urologist started with first injection of Firmagon with Nubeqa and before the end of 28 days wants to switch from Firmagon to Lupron with Nubeqa. I was under impression that Firmagon is better at getting the job done than Lupron? Why switch?

Tingling and numb thumb, index, and middle finger with both hands since I went back to Lupron. EMG/NCS testing indicates CTS. My PCP recommends a sports doctor skilled at administering corticosteroids. Possibly surgery.

we are holding back the pc with lupron while treating the lungs. ? is there a chance the pc will spread while on Lupron? I been on only for 3 weeks now. I get round two of chemo and keytruda this week.

Hi everyone, Is anyone here on Abiraterone and Prednisone with Zometa infusions but without Lupron? My dad's oncologist recently mentioned that he "doesn't need Lupron," which I don’t fully understand.
