Premenopausal bloods and thyroid meds

Hi all Im having my blood taken at 9am to test my LH, FSH and Serum Oestradiol. Is it okay to still take my thyroid meds in the morning or should I take them after my bloods? Thanks :) Lindsay

agonist versus antagonist issue

Switching to Degarelix or maybe the oral version after 5 months of monthly goserelin implant ? With the evidence on cardio and other risks reduced with using an antagonist such as degarelix or relugolix what’s the view on the benefits of doing this when having already started in the RT plus goserelin

Greetings from Holland, to my lovely warriors. Any live birth success transfering PGT-A aeuploids? Or much better egg quality after high dose ubliquinol?

I’m 40. I just found out that all of my FIVE day 5 blastocysts came back aeuploid from the PGT-A. Massively disappointed as my FSH was 5.4 to start and Estrogen response was 3 times better than my last retervial when i was 38, even my husband sperm quality has improved. But the result didn’t add up.

IVF DONOR EGGS

I’ll keep it brief. I’m now pre menopausal, FSH 55. Shocked and upset. No period for 2 months. 13 losses. Now accepting of donor eggs. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. I’m leaning more towards abroad. My head is scrambled so any advice and success stories much appreciated. Thank you

Discovering I may be going through peri menopause at 36 😢

Lots of tests later and still waiting on a hospital appointment with a wait of a further 30 weeks sooo we’ve decided to go private as some of the test results indicate I may be going through peri menopause.

should I try iui?

I have low amh, varying fsh. sometimes totally normal and had one high test. I have hyperthyroidism which makes things more complex. IVF did not work for us, I don't respond to the medication.

Protocol uncertainties

Hello all (sorry for long post) I am due to start a fresh IVF cycle in the coming weeks after disappointing results in my last two cycles (one of which was cancelled, the other low eggs and no embryos) For those two cycles I had the same two stimulation drugs but with one I tried Human Growth Hormone

Recent Adenomyosis Diagnosis and possible Perimenopause

Please help me understand hormones! I am well versed on everything cycle/fertility related but not prepared for this next step. I recently stopped breastfeeding my youngest, age 20 months. I am 43. I had very heavy periods when they returned but thought this was due to breastfeeding. A few months

Initial consultation to urology - Male infertility questions/options

Hi all My husband got given an initial diagnosis of azoospermia in March this year (we’re sure it’s not the blockage version as he can see from his results he has extremely high FSH levels and some other stuff that’s too medical for me to understand). Nobody has talked to us about the diagnosis, he’s

Thyroid tests

Hi all, As part of routine bloods ahead of FET my clinic tested my thyroid. FSH and T4 were very normal but I had evidence of raised TPO antibodies. I’ve read this can lead to miscarriage but have a friend who had the same thing during fertility and was told it’s quite common by endocrinologist and

Pcos healthy teas

Research shows that cinnamon tea can increase total antioxidant capacity (TAC), which is a measure of the amount of free radicals your body can fight off Test-tube studies suggest that compounds in cinnamon may reduce markers of inflammation. Cinnamon may provide powerful anti diabetic effects by lowering

Surgical Outcome

It has been a week since my endometriosis surgery, and I’m still a bit fragile. Both ovaries were stuck and had to be untangled and ‘suspended’ with stitches. The professor attended to me whilst I was still an inpatient and explained that my left ovary is fused with the fallopian tube. This means that

IVF at 29 years old

A lot of people often tell me that I am young and time is on my side. At 18 I felt something was not right with my body (periods were prolonged and painful, fluctuating weight) and I seem to have a phantom issue as nothing has been found wrong yet. At 27 years old I had 8MC's last one in 2017. Since

Fluctuating AMH Levels and then huge decline in one year.

Hi, I am just interested in whether anyone has been in a similar position. I am 34. I had my AMH and AFC tested 3 months before I turned 34. My AFC was good at 19 but my AMH was low for my age at 8.9. Two weeks later, I got my AMH retested and it was 6.2. I thought AMH wasn’t meant to change that much

Myo-inositol supplementation - if anyone tried for Hashimoto?

Just read the info that Myo-inositol regulates the levels of TSH and FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), as well as insulin. It also reduces cholesterol. In the case of thyroid hormones, myo-inositol helps thyroid-hormone-producing cells become more efficient at building T4. Myo-inositol balances thyroid
