Surgery
has been agreed but no guarantee has been given, and I have been told if there is a lot of small spotting of the disease, she will have to close me up again. I'm really hopeful but also realistic that I may be opened up, and stapled together without the cancer being removed.

I have had parkinsons for 5 years and need a hip replacement, I fear how the anesthesia will affect my symptons. I have an appointment with a new neurologist, but it's not until the end of March. My surgeon can only tell me that it's my decision,

I will be doing week 3 run this Wednesday BUT - then due to have revised FESS
surgery
on my sinuses on Thursday. I have Google’d “when can I run again after FESS” it says after 2 weeks I could but not 100% full pelt.

Cataract surgery
My consultant said he would do my cataracts which are not that bad yet when my AMD is more stable as this
surgery
can make it worse. Any thoughts or advice. Thank you.

Knee surgery
I was told by my surgeon to start taking Vitamin D3 daily (at least 2,000 IU) because they will test my Vitamin D level prior to
surgery
and if it's not at least 25, then they will cancel my
surgery
, and I don't want that to happen.

Valve Surgery
I am due to have a tricuspid valve replacement with open heart
surgery
in the next few weeks. I have been getting some conflicting info regarding wearing a bra or not after the procedure and what type if necessary is best.

I’ve decided to pay for private lap as I’ve been told my NHS lap will be 2 years time due to waiting times and with pain management
surgery
is my final straw.

He ended up having
surgery
. He was on various pain medications (which he never takes and did not do well on) and then there has been some regression after
surgery
in regards to symptoms. I recently read the books by Martyn Hopper and they are very informative.
