She’s had a cancellation in February but I’m worried the
surgery
could cause more scar tissue. Thanks

Surgery tomorrow
I’m having
surgery
tomorrow Keyhole hysterectomy plus excision of endometriosis , it may be on my bowel but they aren’t sure yet. Spoke to the surgeon he said I might be able to go home same day or next? Whereas the gynaecologist sept said a few more days?!

I agreed to the diamox being increased, knowing it was short term, with a date for
surgery
early June. Alongside this I have cataracts in both eyes and my vision has become mega blurry as a consequence. Given the risk factors I was told I was on the priority list for
surgery

Has anyone considered having no
surgery
especially if you are older. I'm 82. Five weeks of radiation did not help and I am on with and see for 2 months but probably
surgery
will be recommended.

Post Surgery
Posted for the first time over a month ago and recently had trab
surgery
on my left eye Tues 26th.
Surgery
was not the most pleasant of experiences but necessary and the pressure was down to 8 the next day from a high of 38 so good news so far.

I am waiting for my cataracts to be done under GA because I have very serious back problems and cannot lie comfortably on my back or keep still. I am concerned because I have had AF for several years, does. I am also very scared, and wonder if anyone has been in this situation. Thanks Paul

Impending surgery
I know I have to stop my Apixaban 48 hours before
surgery
. Just this silly niggle about undergoing a general anaesthetic now I’m on diltiazem, flecainide, gabapentin, atorvostatin and other analgesics. I know everything will be alright but it just seems a lot going on there.

Microshunt Surgery
I’m now being told I need urgent Microshunt
surgery
on the good eye at Moorfields. Has anyone had this
surgery
as I am worried by the comments I have read on various forums?

Hello lovely ladies, After 5 rounds of chemo, my stage 3c primary peritoneal cancer is finally deemed operable and I'm scheduled for debulking op this Wednesday 19th. I'm told there is very little disease left (although - I don't know if anyone else felt like this - I have trouble believing them) Fingers

Surgery Risks?
Hi everyone. Just joined this site yesterday after a recent UCTD diagnosis. Last year, before my diagnosis, I was referred for gallbladder removal. This week, I received a telephone consultation appointment for May. I will ask any relevant questions during the consultation but was wondering meantime

Cancelled surgery
I was due to have my second
surgery
on the 4th March, I arrived to be told it was cancelled because the surgeon didn’t work on Fridays. I was then told it was because my ecg was abnormal, I went to see a private cardiologist and my ecg was normal.

Big surgery
I was told it will be a big
surgery
with risks. This is by a top neurosurgeon. How do Ideal with this. I’m just falling to pieces. I’m 64 so not young and not particularly fit. I can’t tell my family what was said because then I will be worrying about them.

Endo surgery?
I don’t want to go through this radical
surgery
if it’s not going to improve the pain. Is it best just to have the endo treated via
surgery
first then see how it goes before full hysterectomy? Anyone had this treatment done? Advise would be welcome.
