Frozen embryo transfer (FET)

hi all, we are starting a new fet with a pgta tested in January. I’m still deciding between the natural method (I have regular cycles) vs medicated- we had two failed medicated fet in a previous cycle.

after a failed natural fet they are now going to do hrt fet with lubicon injections anyone done this before and what is process ? Iv to go to clinic for deceptyl injection on day 21 thanks

My scan is next week just to check all is fine before booking in for FET. Any advice would be appreciated regarding preparing for FET, as this is my first frozen transfer. I am eating as healthy as possible, taking all my supplements, etc… xx

I’ve recently found out I have genital herpes and I’m due to have a FET in April. Has anyone else got HSV and doing IVF? Did you take an antiviral before the FET to reduce chances of an outbreak? Would they effect your response the the medication? Thank you!

I had my FET on Friday the 13th and have been having serious endo cramps till date, I’m so scared and worried. Has anyone had a severe endo flare up till day 5 after FET and still ended with a positive test

Hello everyone, I’m travelling to Spain tomorrow for my second FET on Saturday. First FET in December didn’t work and I’m quite anxious about 2WW this time and wondered if anyone else was having a transfer in the next few days?

Today was my OTD for our Day 6 4BA FET… 💫 🙏🏼 Actually in shock to have got here… 13 years TTC and only our second ever positive test (first one being our FET son born Nov 2018) Now the nervous wait, and lots of POAS waiting for viability scan 24th Feb. Is anyone on similar timings?

Hello im on day 8 after my FET and apart from wakinb up a bit in the night and dreaming a bit i have no symptoms ive already had 2 FET before and i cant remember if i did have any more symptoms last time can anybody reassure me they have had this too?

I am about to do my first FET on the NHS ( I have had done a few privately before) and they have told me that they don’t do baseline bloods or scans. I will be doing a medicated FET and have been told to start my medications in CD1 and come in for a scan CD8-11.

For those that have had a medicated FET, which day in your cycle did you transfer?

Please any advise/information regarding using embryoGlue for DE FET?does it increase the chance of implantation?

I’m so disappointed 😢 I am therefore worried after 2-3 more cycles to try to bank embryos, the endo will be back good and proper and affect implantation at FET once again. Has anyone had prostap before FET? Thinking I might need it to calm things down.

Anyone else check their levels before FET- and what was your successful progesterone regimen? Would love to hear what your clinic does and if they check progesterone levels - what was your number before FET? Hoping all of us determined women on this incredibly difficult IVF journey have success.

Hi, Does anyone else's clinic prescribe routine antibiotics (doxycycline) before FET? I understood why they might have prescribed them before the egg retrieval (also for my husband) but I don't understand the reason for prescribing before a FET, and I wondered if this is common practice?

Had polyps removed in January and now I'm waiting to for my one and only FET. I was hoping this period would be on time (28 day cycle), feared that it might be a longer one but instead its come 8 days early (20 day cycle).

I am starting my meds for my next FET in two days time and I was wondering does anyone know if I am able to use caster oil packs still during my protocol for a FET please? I am on oestrogen and aspirin to start and then adding in progesterone and antibiotics closer to FET? Thank you so much xx

Since prescribed these Evorel patches* to try and thicken my lining (for a FET)after my day 10 scan I have had cramps, diarrhoea and light to now medium bright red watery bleed. - Day 13 My lining has obviously not thickened now and FET cycle has been cancelled today.
