I am having a bone marrow
biopsy
and will probably be starting chemotherapy after that to try to save my kidneys. Vegetarian diet has raised GFR to 38. I am Hoping this chemo can stop the protein from destroying my kidneys. Does anybody else on here have a diagnosis of MGRS?

Liquid Biopsy
Has anyone had experience with having a Liquid
Biopsy
done? It is a blood test that can identify cells in the body which may show cancer, then enabling doctors to target therapies that can help. It’s recently been approved by FDA, so insurance can pay.

Blood biopsy
My oncologist ordered a blood
biopsy
and the results show that there is no treatment for my mutations. So I had 5 sessions of radiation, each time treating all 3 of my lesions. She is keeping me on Ibrance and letrozole and plans to treat further progressions with radiation .

Hi all, went to clinic today and as I suspected, my adenoid cystic carcinoma has metastersised to my lungs. I am told I am being refered to the head & neck cancer in Liverpool where I sent 21yrs ago! Still no idea of treatment until I go for my appointment whenever that may be! Frustrating 3 months on

Is a Liquid biopsy of ctDNA with PSA = 6 and 4 bone mets, useful?
Hello friends I have to pay upfront the costs but I don't know if nothing will be found in a liquid
biopsy
with PSA of 6.5 What is your experience with liquid
biopsy
? And did anyone have a bone metastatic solid
biopsy
? Thank you 🤗🙌

Lung Biopsy - Lucky?
The
biopsy
is done only with a local. Does anyone have experience with that? Having gotten sepsis from one prostate
biopsy
, I'm a bit gun shy about potential side effects from a lung
biopsy
.

EUS Pancreas Biopsy
I have a second EUS scheduled in a couple weeks because a pancreas
biopsy
wasn't done at the first one. I recently had an MRCP which showed a small pancreatic cyst. Will the
biopsy
be done to the cyst or just somewhere on my pancreas?

Biopsy wait times
He now has to go for a
biopsy
and the GP informed him the appointment could take up to 4 weeks. He called the appointment line today and was told it will take 10 weeks for the
biopsy
. Surely that is not right? He lives in NI.
