For a totally separate issue with my toe, I have been prescribed Flucloxacillin (Antibiotics, that contain lots of different Iron-oxides) the specialist told me I should cut down on certain foods with Iron in, so I would like to check if the antibiotics a different doctor prescribed me can have any negative

Does anyone have this problem with the never ending circle of antibiotics? BTW am unable to produce a sputum sample despite being on carbocysteine.

Found this recent article where it states that new'ish research says taking a probiotic after antibiotics is pretty much pointless but as we all know there is so much conflicting stuff out there.

Hi all,I've had a UTI and I'm on antibiotics. I have my thyroid blood test tomorrow and I'm wondering whether to cancel until I'm off the antibiotics. As I'm wondering if this would interfere with results?

I've been off my Benepali jab for nearly 3 weeks as I got an I infection and had antibiotics. Started my jab again last night. Anyone know how long it'll take to kick in again please. I'm hurting in a flare.

Surprisingly I got a phone call from doc ....yes the antibiotics can cause horrible taste,upset stomach and all the rest.I asked if the combination might cause increased breathlessness and was told that it was unlikely....so I'm told to start prednisolone in the morning.

Just spoke with my GP and now need antibiotics due to a possible infected sore on my inner thigh, most likely a pressure sore/infected hair folicle blah blah which I believe is from sitting too long crosslegged at the computer day in and day out. 5 day course.

I am considering trying probiotics after 2 failed transfers but of course wouldn't be able to do this if my clinic prescribe me a course of antibiotics before each FET. Thanks for any info X

My question is has anyone had positive or negative reactions to antibiotics or share my concern about the frequency and length of time for the prescription.

I was given antibiotics which I took for three weeks. After that it got so much better, much much better. There are some artikels on internet about this, so may be someone can be helpt of my tips. Kerstin

Has anyone had antibiotics that shifts sinusitis? I know we're limited to which antibiotics we can take, but this is really not fun. I know we can't fight infections very well with these pesky meds. 😏

My husband and I are both now on a high dose of antibiotics to clear this and I am going to be taking probiotics orally as vaginally pre-transfer. other than this does anyone have any other recommendations? I’m worried it is going to return between finishing the antibiotics + the transfer.

Hi everyone any suggestions I've have a big boil middle off shoulders it's nasty docter give me antibiotics is there any suggestions to bring it to head so it bursts cause if antibiotics don't work it has to be cut drained I'd rather try other method off sorting it

We keep having such a delay in getting antibiotics, she reacts to a lot of them too! I know I have read that people have emergency antibiotics on hand to make sure the infection is fended off quickly but I can’t seem to find what type of antibiotics these are? Thanks so much

I have to take antibiotics for something unrelated to fertility, but want to avoid thrush/wiping out my good bacteria. So, any recommendations hugely appreciated. Also, does anyone know if taking antibiotics circa 6-8weeks prior to a check for endometritis skews the results? Many thanks!

I think endo has affected my digestive tract and wondering if anyone has found the antibiotics has helped their endo or their digestive tract? Or does it cause other issues? Sorry if this post is confusing, feels like so much is going on inside and I don't have any clear answers
