Hysteroscopy

Has anyone had a hysterscopy. I have one next week and I am really scared. Is it that painful?

My hysteroscopy is at another hospital (referred by my GP earlier this year). I’m now in a dilemma as the clinic have stated it’s one or the other. As my uterine lining is already shedding they said I couldn’t the hysteroscopy AND transfer this same cycle.

Hey everyone x For those of you who have had a hysteroscopy how long after the procedure did it take your periods to return to normal? I had egg collection and hysteroscopy in December. I bled around 10 days later making that cycle length 26 days. I am now day 31 and no sign.

Please has anyone done hysteroscopy and how painful is it?

I have just received an appointment for a Hysteroscopy in just over two weeks time following being diagnosed with Endo and Adeno.

hi everyone can anyone that’s had both hysteroscopy and lap please give me some reassurance. I’m panicking I go in on Thursday and I keep seeing so many posts of people that have had one or the other but not both. Really scared and nervous xx

Also could hysteroscopy be done at the same time?

I am currently waiting for a hysteroscopy due to fibroids and once healed i am hoping all will be ok to implant. Is there any advice you could offer me? thankyou so much and wishing you all the very best on your journey x

Hi I have my lap on the 6th Feb I know there’s a few of us on the same day so thought maybe I’d start a post for us all to keep in touch and share any worries, I’m down for a laparoscopy hysteroscopy, polypectomy and depending on my ovaries maybe removing one xx

Have just started dienigest (3daysago) and am waiting for a hysteroscopy. Been offered coil, but not sure? I just feel at a loss…fed up feet like I’ve been hit by a bus! Any advice. Need to lose weight and have absolutely no energy

I have to have a hysteroscopy soon. I think it’ll be done under general anaesthetic as my recent smear test was so painful. Been advised to take paracetamol beforehand but given my stress response is still abnormal, wondered if I should also increase my steroids.

I'm back for more advice or to hear people experience of a hysteroscopy and nk cell test. The clinc is abroad and I would be under general anesthesia for the hysteroscopy which kind of scares me a little but I've seen people say it's painful with out.

I had a hysteroscopy before my transfer and everything looked fine. I’m just looking for advice on where to turn/ what to ask next?

Hi all xx I’ve had a biopsy result back from my recent hysteroscopy which shows I only have 10% lactobacillus. I’ve been taking Bio.Me Femme V probiotics for over a year now as recommended by Melanie Brown when she reviewed my vaginal microbiome swab results.

Hysteroscopy with biopsies all clear. Moving onto transfer 3 next month and using an immune protocol this time to see if it makes any difference. I don't know why it's not working, my heart hurts and I'm losing hope of it ever working for us. Anyone any advice?

I had a laparoscopy & hysteroscopy 2 weeks ago & am still recovering. I take the combined pill Lucette to manage my symptoms & am continuing to do so. I take it for 6 weeks & then have a 4 day break. Due to the surgery I am now on week 7 & have no idea what to do for the best regarding a break.

I've had repeated hysteroscopy prior to each transfer. This is a tough period for me. Any advice on how I can increase my chances of getting my next embryo implanted properly will be appreciated. I will be reading your comments
