Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any experience with having a hysteroscopy prior to FET?

Hey all, After 5 failed transfers (4x fresh & 1 fet) , my doctor decided to do a hysteroscopy, all i can say is OMG , i did not expect it to be soooo painful.

Anybody had this and what to expect? Can this detect endometriosis? Went to GP last Thursday and told me all pain could be in my head, I was fuming so put complaint in to NHS England and GP and overnight I have a referral to gynecology

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a clinic in London for a hysteroscopy? I’ve had an initial consultation in Scotland today but would have to wait until mid May unless they have a cancellation. I’ve got holidays over Easter and was hoping to get it done then.

My previous doctors were not eager for me to go for a hysteroscopy as I had a normal Hycosy scan, 3D scan and MR pelvis. I had 5 euploids transferred with no success and I insisted to have this done. And I am so glad I did.

They won’t do an hysteroscopy and thinking of paying private at a cost of £3.5k 🙈 this is a final cycle and then our IVF journey is over so I want to cover all bases before I close the book ☹️

I had my first Gynae appointment a couple of weeks ago, where I had a surprise Hysteroscopy! I've just had the results letter, which is more in depth than the post procedure chat with the consultant.

Hi everyone, I’m due to have a Hysteroscopy next week, and I’m currently having my egg retrieval withdrawal bleed now. Please can someone advise on when I would have a FET done? Ive been told it’s 4 weeks? Is that 4 weeks from egg retrieval or 4 weeks after hysteroscopy? Thank you xx

Had ERA, ALICE and EMMA, scratch, Hysteroscopy (normal). NK cells - raised cytokines. Been on prednisolone and aspirin. Got 1 embroyo left in the freezer. Any advice/ suggestions much appreciated. Starting to lose hope.

The only thing left to try is another Hysteroscopy to remove a potential polyp - I did Hysteroscopy before this cycle. But they didn't detect any polyp during the procedure.

I have also done a hysteroscopy which showed a septum and it was excised during the operation. We have transferred our only PGT A embryo on 26/4/2023. 7 days later we did a pregnancy test which showed a positive.

hi ladies - I’ve got to have an hysteroscopy and I’m worried sick about the procedure. I’ve had a novasure ablation done which was in 2017 I think so I know it can be more difficult to do because of scar tissue. Has anyone else had a hysteroscopy after a ablation and was it very painful ?

Hey everyone, I received my biopsy results from my hysteroscopy, and was told i have chronic endometritis, i was prescribed antibiotics. I have just started my 5th cycle, 1st injection was Wednesday. Has anyone had positive results after treating their chronic endometritis?

Would a hysteroscopy give me some clarity in this? Thks for any advice!! X

just wondered if anyone could share their experience? Currently waiting for confirmation of dates for the above procedure at The London Clinic. I was going to have procedure here in Scotland but much more expensive and more of a wait, Would really appreciate if anyone could pm me with details. Xx

So yet ANOTHER spanner in the works, my clinics now want me to have another diagnostic hysteroscopy done. “Ringing the GP for a gynae referral” like they suggested is not an option. With the way the NHS is going at the moment I will have died of old age before that ever materialises.

Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

Has anyone done a hysteroscopy with normal previous imaging (mri) and found something that was corrected with a positive result after?

I am currently waiting for my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

I have a large posterior subserosal fibroid but hysteroscopy was normal so didn’t require a myomectomy. Had a mock embryo transfer last month which was ok. Due to start progesterone suppositories tomorrow and also steroids. My clinic don’t believe nor do they offer the ERA test.
