Hysteroscopy

My hysteroscopy is at another hospital (referred by my GP earlier this year). I’m now in a dilemma as the clinic have stated it’s one or the other. As my uterine lining is already shedding they said I couldn’t the hysteroscopy AND transfer this same cycle.

Hey everyone x For those of you who have had a hysteroscopy how long after the procedure did it take your periods to return to normal? I had egg collection and hysteroscopy in December. I bled around 10 days later making that cycle length 26 days. I am now day 31 and no sign.

Please has anyone done hysteroscopy and how painful is it?

hi, just wondering who the best person in London is for a diagnostic hysteroscopy?

I'm back for more advice or to hear people experience of a hysteroscopy and nk cell test. The clinc is abroad and I would be under general anesthesia for the hysteroscopy which kind of scares me a little but I've seen people say it's painful with out.

Also could hysteroscopy be done at the same time?

This time I changed Clinics, the clinic was more through, my progesterone levels were good, I have a hysteroscopy, acupuncture. I was put onto clexane. Post hysteroscopy I had polyps removed. I am 34 years old. I already have a son from my very first successful ivf cycle and he is nearly 4.

I have now been referred for a hysteroscopy. Has anyone else had a hysteroscopy and what was it like - I am really frightened. I am also frightened about cancer, although I haven't been told this - I am just really worrying. Any assurance, tips or help would be most appreciated. TIA xx

I've had repeated hysteroscopy prior to each transfer. This is a tough period for me. Any advice on how I can increase my chances of getting my next embryo implanted properly will be appreciated. I will be reading your comments

I had a hysteroscopy under general anaesthetic on Wednesday. All went well, except for pain after the procedure, pain probably related to scarring from previous surgery in that area. On 6 mg pred atm. I didn't take extra pred.

Hi all,I had my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy yesterday. I managed to take a photo of what the consultant had written in my notes (naughty!) but I've seen him three times prior to this and never received a letter about the appointment (I'm also very impatient and curious!).

Following a hysteroscopy I have been referred for a myosure procedure to remove quite a few polyps which were caused by the egg retrieval meds (annoying!).

Hi All After having a hysteroscopy, MRI and CT scan, I am now due to see my specialist tomorrow. She wants to discuss either partial or full hysterectomy. Is the way forward and are there any questions I should be asking her?

I've had all the tests and checks for the previous bleeding, hysteroscopy etc and nothing sinister is going on. I was told it's the HRT. Why is this happening? I need the HRT to feel human again and can't beat the thought of not being able to take it.

The only things I think that I haven’t been tested on are NK cells, and I have never had a hysteroscopy. I’ve had consultations with 3 clinics, and all suggested to have a hysteroscopy but after egg collection. My question is can a hysteroscopy tell me that my womb is unable to carry a child?

I was relieved as I'd been referred urgently to gynae, had a blood test which showed raised ca125 and on that basis I was referred on a gynae 2ww.I had the ultrasound within a week of the 2ww referral and have now got an appointment for a hysteroscopy at the end of December.

Hello I posted a short while ago about my upcoming hysteroscopy. Just to update I had it last week, and if anyone is feeling scared/anxious about having it done, I assure you I was in the best hands and very well looked after. My gynaecologist is absolutely lovely and I am very lucky.

This was my 3rd after 2 x 5 years being fine but this one took multiple appointments and eventually went in with the help of a hysteroscopy. I know it took a while to settle last time but I can't remember having cramps so much. I've taken iburofen every few days since.

I had a hysteroscopy last week and some biopsies taken. Surgeon said he couldn’t see anything wrong. He suggested next step I could consider is an endometrial ablation. I am considering this before making a final decision on having a hysterectomy.

I’m now 2 months post laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and have some questions as doctors can’t seem to help/advise. I’m still quite swollen in the area, bloating and that. I feel exhausted some days like I’ve got the flu and then some days full of more energy.
