Progesterone

I supplement with progesterone cream, I started this 6 months ago, I take my levothyroxine at 6am 150mg prior to starting progesterone my levels were optimal both T4 and T3 ... now they keep dropping since then, can continuously supplementing progesterone cause absorbtion issues???

As requested by the clinic, on the 10th day post transfer, I did a Beta HCG and Progesterone tests (test day), the progesterone level came back 34 nmol/L which I thought was too low. At that point, I was still taking my doses of progesterone.

hi all, has anyone tested progesterone levels after a pregnancy test and had levels go down slightly without a bad outcome? I was 30.8 prior to transfer, started taking Lubion alongside utrogestan x 3 and on transfer day my levels were at 55.

I start Progesterone pessaries tomorrow and I have to take 1 in the morning a 2 in the evening. Has anyone else had this dose? I’m going to ring my clinic tomorrow to confirm but do you take the 2 at the same time

has anyone had a day 5 embryo transfer on 7th day of progesterone? Started progesterone today but fet is on friday? Is this normal? Did you have success ?

I believe progesterone peaks the week before menstruation and then drops suddenly triggering blood loss. My doctor won’t let me take oestrogen without progesterone and has suggested the mirena coil instead of progesterone capsules.

We are doing our IVF treatment abroad and I wanted to ask if any of you know a place in the UK (London/ Reading/ Oxford) that can do a private progesterone blood test with a 24h turnaround? If If I can get that done in the UK it would save me flying back and forth for my next transfer.

When I arrived I had my first scan and had my progesterone checked. I then had my trigger shot at the same time before the bloods were back. I then found out that my progesterone levels are very very high without any progesterone supplementation. It was 18ng/ml.

Hello everyone, I just had a question about progesterone. So I did an IVF FET(HRT) on 16th Aug and was asked to test my progesterone during the TWW. On 22nd August my progesterone was 40.26 ng/mL I later went on to get a BFP and bhcg (24,000 now) has been rising as it should.

I got my initial blood tests back today and my GP commented on how high my progesterone was - so high that it could indicate pregancy (but my period arrived today so I’m very much not pregnant!) Has anyone else had high progesterone and did it cause issues? Thanks in advance.

- How was your natural cycle outlined (timeline, what was involved in the cycle, ovulation monitoring, progesterone etc)? -When did you start taking progesterone? -How much progesterone are/were you taking? -When exactly did you have your frozen embryo transfer with a natural cycle?

Finally, did you also use lubion injections into your tummy whilst on daily progesterone in oil injections too? Thank you so much xx🙏💕

Went to early pregnancy unit who kept me there to monitor blood loss , the scan confirmed I had miscarried but my hcg bloods were over 4000 when I was going home and progesterone was only 9 , they expected progesterone levels to be higher especially being on Cylogest pessarys x 2 per day , my clinic

I always thought it was between day 17-20, but does it depend on when progesterone support is commenced, I.e. transfer is planned for blastocyst transfer 5 days later? So the clinic could delay transfer by not commencing progesterone as early to fit your transfer in with their lab availability?

Hi All, I’ve just had my HRT prescription changed - more estrogen and separate progesterone pills to be taken at night (have been on combined patch for 3yrs). I feel much better when I take Levo at night - do we know if progesterone interferes with Levo?

This time my progesterone has been maximized (tablet AND injections) as I felt my progesterone was too low before. Any advice, tips or suggestions for anything I can be doing right now to help the chances of success this time around?

I'm down to 5 mg of oral progesterone, and I'm developing a very bad itchy rash. Anyone else experienced this and how did you cope with it? It's driving me mad!😠

My clinic called today (I had FET yesterday and checked progesterone before the transfer). My levels came back low! 12.4 and what I've been told it should be 20 the lowest. I am waiting for my clinic to give me some progesterone injections to take daily.
