To help ‘short term’ they said, they have put me on a combined pill for 3 months at a time and a 4 day break, now this does help to a degree but I still get all sorts of

Recently went back to the doctors about my PCOS and did another pelvic scan (for reference my 5th one) and a blood test again and now they tell me my only options are to go onto
contraception
or try for a baby and I’ll be referred to a gynaecologist. Anyone else have any ideas

contraception choices
I also have never wanted kids, my partner does so I compromised and said we can have one in the future but after that I want to come off
contraception
and get female sterilisation. However my Drs warned me that I may be refused because “I'm too young”.

Contraception
I have struggled to find the best method in
contraception
. I had the implant but it just didn't agree with my body, periods started to be around 3 weeks. I then went no the mini pill, which same thing happened. They then switched to combined and my moods became so low.

natural cycles for endometriosis
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using hormone-free
contraception
, especially natural cycles. I would like to give it a go but don’t know whether it will make my symptoms worse. Thanks in advance!

TSH going up on Levo?
I take Yasmin
contraception
but take this at night. I’m feeling so fed up and upset that I’ve made absolutely no progress with my levels. Is it worth asking to double my dose? Be referred somewhere? Should I change how I take my levo? Grateful for any insight from anyone.

Zalkya/Visanne (dienogest) and basal body temp
(Not as a form of
contraception
, just to track cycles etc). Have spoken to NC and they say it can't be used with anything that will impact your basal temperature, which I guess Zalkya would if it stops ovulation? Thanks guys x

Sudden irregular periods...advice please!
I'm not on any
contraception
/hormone control and like I said, it's just started happening suddenly...is it a sign that the disease is getting worse? My doctors have, as always, been no help at all and have offered no advice.

Best contraception to help with endo?
I had endo and adhesion excision in November and my consultant recommended I go on some form of hormonal
contraception
to try and limit endo growing back again.

Then due to starting my final year of uni I have decided to hold off on surgery and try to manage my symptoms with diet and lifestyle, as well as

to help.

I was on hormonal

for 6 years but thought it was about time I took I break because things such as endometriosis and cancer of the womb run in my family.

Combined pill and smoking
My doctors just changed my
contraception
from the mini pill to the combined pill. I'm 26 and smoke. I have no medical issues or history of clots or anything. Is it safe for me to take it while smoking as I'm under 35?
