Oestrogen

have been on oestrogen 3 x2 mg and one oestrogen patch 1 every 3 days . Its my second fet the last failed with a 3bb For context 27 with pcos lost my first baby to birth defecrs at 21 weeks who was a fresh transfer. Im feeling very overwhelmed and horrible on the oestrogen.

I did oestrogen priming last cycle, but as I’ve posted on here recently, this led to my worst cycle yet with no embryos to transfer. I have low AMH and poor response and do tend to have quite a spread of follicle sizes.

Im going to ask my gp to test my oestrogen levels, as Iv been having some issues with sweating and acne (delightful new symptoms!) and someone mentioned to me that it can be quite common for those with endo to have higher than normal oestrogen which could be causing some of my problems.

Hi I'm 38 in June.My oestrogen blood test results showed 209 pmol on day 9 of cycle does anyone know if this seems low or high. Thank you.

My doctor won’t let me take oestrogen without progesterone and has suggested the mirena coil instead of progesterone capsules. The thought of having a permanent source of progesterone inside me is frightening but without the Oestrogen I struggle to function.

Also I’m post menopause and my oestrogen is currently very low at 18 and testosterone is non existent too. I’ve now upped to 50mcg oestrogen patch to see if that helps with levels. If my sex hormones can be improved will that help my thyroid?

It seems blood tests only are a window in time as oestrogen changes through the day. mum fed up with just generally feeling ‘Meh’! thanks

I’m planned to have a natural modified transfer but my acupuncturist was surprised I wasn’t on oestrogen as she thought it may explain my short periods. I also always spot before my period. Thank you.

For reference I have lower oestrogen level naturally as have PCOS and an irregular cycle. Wishing you all baby dust xx

I get oestrogen fed migraines when my period comes but since being on decapeptyl I haven't had them. Anyone similar? Thank you.

I have just received a letter following my recent endo appointment and it states that oestrogen levels were negligible and fsh was 19. I just want to check if this is normal. I thought the fsh should have been much higher. Thank you so much for any insight.

Hi all, I am preparing for my next FET by using low dose gonal f to stimulate a follicle and produce natural oestrogen. I’ve had a history of thin lining and want to try to improve it. I was going to try the castor oil pack however I read somewhere that you can’t use it during stims.

It reduced my oestrogen so much that I started to feel menopausal systems. Night sweats, light headedness, foggy brain and all over aching. Having been on Zoladex (which stops oestrogen all together) many years before hand I was reminded of these symptoms.

I am on a natural cycle start after luteal phase oestrogen priming rather than timed with anything this time. I’m just worried a nurse got it wrong somewhere and I’ve given first injection now.

I am struggling with low mood (I'm not allowed HRT as my tumours were oestrogen dependent) and feeling exhausted, isolated and disconnected from family and friends. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you 😊

hi there DEXA -3.7 and -3.5 Did have low bmi for many years no oestrogen Now on HRT What levels is ideal for hrt ? No one can tell me optimal range ? Ctx and 0.5 and Pn1p 106 All the rest is normal. T4 16 12 to 22 And t3 5.1 4.1 to 6.8 I’m only 48 .

My doctor also increased my oestrogen and wants me to add in testosterone in 5 weeks. I held off on reducing the levothyroxine dose last week because I increased the oestrogen and my mood improved for a few days but that has now worn off so I’m thinking I should reduce the dose this week.
