So, what is your TSH? If your cholesterol is high, it more than likely means that you are under-medicated or a poor converter, and your FT3 is too low. Nothing to do with diet.

So, if you can, it would be a good idea to get your TSH, FT4 and FT3 tested privately. You've already got your nutrient results there so you don't need a full thyroid panel, just the thyroid hormones.

Your nutrient levels are fine - except for your folate. And your B12 could be higher. So, it might be a good idea to get a good methylated B complex and take that for a while, retest your folate and see if it's improved. The Bs all work together, so need to be kept balanced. :)

Thanks for your reply Greygoose

I will order another thyroid test and go from there. My B12 has increased since eating whole foods since June. My previous levels used to be around 200, but I know that a good B12 level means nothing if you have trouble with the stomach.

I will start to sort my folate out too.

what jumped out at me is your folate which could be higher I would take something for that SlowDragon can advise you what to take when she logs on. Also your ferritin could be higher so I would try eating more iron rich foods when mine was low I ate pate on toast a few times a week. Mine is now actually high because I have Graves’ disease.

Thank you for replying Kerry

I thought my ferritin was ok. It has come down from previous tests and I'm aware that ferritin can be raised with inflammation.

What range is your ferritin?

Very high over 400. It’s because I have Graves’ disease
