I had look in FAQ and could not see any reference to the role of
vitamin
B12
in either PMR or GCA. A colleague recommended B12 injections to alleviate the symptoms, pain and fatigue. I am sceptical of anecdotal suggestions. Has anyone heard about this supplement or tried it?

Hi everyone, Recently my hematologist suggested
vitamin
B12
shots to help with fatigue. Has anyone else tried this and did it work? Are there negative side effects?

vitamin b12 deficiency
Hello, I am writing to ask if any one following a plant based/vegan diet has been told their
vitamin
b12
is low. I get so confused as what the best way to eat for a kidney diet. I was hoping plantbased/vegan would be best but now it has led to a new issue. Just so confused.

Vitamin B12 Injections
I was recently diagnosed with lack of B12 in my bloods (not anaemic) but most likely due to high dose Metformin and lanzoprasole as I am also diabetic. Since starting the jabs I seem to have had a PMR flare and wonder if I should go from 4 mgs back to 10 for perhaps a week or so as my legs and ankles

IBS is not a Disease; It is a condition.
Taking
Vitamin
B12
when you are not deficient can cause a lot of problems so you must be diagnosed by two lab tests to confirm it -- one for
Vitamin
B12
, and if it is low or borderline, a test for high Methylamonic acid.

Serious Nerve Damage from Use of Nitrous Oxide
More on the news today about nitrous oxide and the serious nerve damage to those using it but, again, no mention of how use depletes
vitamin
B12
. Also horrifying to hear how easy it is to buy and that the cylinders are even larger than before 😱
