Which Magnesium?

I have been taking magnesium glycinate for the past 3 months,, but unfortunately bought some with extra rubbish! I was looking for a better alternative and came across a 'which magnesium' site . It said magnesium glycinate was good for depression, anxiety and general well being. Well thats me!

Magnesium supplements

Hello - what are other peoples views on taking magnesium supplements. I have read conflicting information on this subject. I have invested in Lee Hull,s book and it states that magnesium is good for the heart as it helps to prevent calcification especially if you are on dialysis.

Magnesium & NAFLD

Has anyone had experience taking magnesium for NAFLD? It’s purported to help improve liver function, help with sleep, fat loss, and halt progression of liver disease. Sounds too good to be true but is it recommended?

The 'right' kind of Magnesium supplement?

For the past couple of years I've been taking Magnesium L Threonate, for night cramps and it's worked extremely well but a couple of weeks ago, I had to switch to Magnesium Oxide as I couldn't get my usual. In any case, since I switched, my tummy has not been right (diarrhoea).

Magnesium and Warfarin

With magnesium being championed as the mineral of choice for us afibers, I was shocked to see that magnesium contraindicates with warfarin and can increase the risk of bleeding? Interestingly I’ve noticed my INR has fallen not risen since taking magnesium?

Sleep deprived and cranky

I take magnesium tablets, magnesium salt baths, magnesium spray, weighted blanket, special pillow, lavender spray, chamomile tea and listen to my meditation at bedtime. I don't use my screens 2 hours before bed and read.

Use of Magnesium for RLS?

I realize that Magnesium has numerous benefits, including perhaps with RLS and, of course, sleep. I'm also a chronic headacher so I take Magnesium for that. However, is there any guidelines for amount of Magnesium for RLS relief?

Quick question: magnesium zinc & selenium

Hey All I've been ferreting around online to see if there is any reason NOT to take magnesium, zinc and selenium together. I've seen some things saying magnesium and zinc actually complement each other and are good taken together but can't seem to find anything about the selenium.

Magnesium

I need some information on magnesium. My labs show I'm low but still within the normal range and the doctor advised to take the supplement daily. Ive been taking 500mg of plain magnesium and started to develop severe insomnia and a lot of intense, crazy dreaming.

Magnesium Supplements - Fatigue & Migraines

It appears that magnesium glycinate or malate are better for fatigue and migraines than citrate or oxide, however these appear to be harder to find. My question is does anybody take magnesium supplements by a brand that they are happy with?
