haemoglobin values.
My
haemoglobin
level is always around 103 and ferrous normal. it is always considered to be expected in view of my B12 deficiency. Therefore acceptable. Do others have this problem. I feel it causes me tiredness and lack of energy.

low haemoglobin.
🎄Happy Christmas every body and a healthier new year. 🎄 I have had pernicious anaemia for over 40 years now. My HB is never more than 9.7. And my other red blood cell results are always slightly abnormal .. The GPs always seem to consider this is to be expected as I have PA. Is this acceptable

Familial Polycythemia
Our blood tests always show a red cell count around 5.6,
Haemoglobin
160 and ESR 9. We've never been given any information but my daughter saw her GP yesterday and discussed the blood test results, he said we clearly have familial Polycythemia and should be being checked regularly.

Fatigue
Good Day Everyone My question is, should I be feeling fatigued with lymphocytes around 43 and
haemoglobin
at 12.1 g/dl or could the fatigue be caused by some other blood deficiency such as iron or vitamin B12.

Pegasys and increasingly low haemoglobin count
Platelets are up and down and hovering around 300 but
haemoglobin
has continually dropped and now stands at 119. Has anyone else experienced a steady drop in
haemoglobin
counts whilst on pegasys, after a similar period of time (5 years)? Did reducing the dosage reverse the situation?

My low ferritin saga continues
His response I'm sure will cause some amusement for all the wrong reasons - he said " low ferritin levels in the absence of low
haemoglobin
are of no clinical significance and do not require any action - we will only give supplements if
haemoglobin
is low i.e. anaemic".
