I had a parathyroid adenoma removed January, 2021 after having
calcium
levels elevated for 8 years. Went undiagnosed all that time. Now I am suffering with the
calcium
complications. I am now tapering the Prednisolone dosage from 60Mgs. per my Rheumatologist directions. Down to 30Mgs.

Blood Calcium Level of 134
His blood
calcium
level, however, is 134, which is far too high. The doctor has requested a Coronary
Calcium
Scan as she is worried about
Calcium
build up in his arteries. I am also concerned about his cancer (or a new cancer) having spread to his bones.

Does magnesium interfere with calcium absorption?
I started seeing low
calcium
symptoms like cramps and I was wondering if I’m taking too much magnesium and if it interfers with the
calcium
.

Alendronic acid quandary
Dr Kate Rhéaume-bleue’s book The
Calcium
Paradox says that it’s the D3 and K2 that gets the
calcium
into the bones. Pumping
calcium
into the body without those vitamins risks deposit of the
calcium
in the soft tissue and consequently raises one’s chances of a heart attack.

A month or so ago, I wrote about my hubby's blood test showing a
calcium
level of 134. Many of you good folks responded and some suggested that it might be a mistake. Well, it WAS a mistake. His blood
calcium
level falls within the normal range.

TUMS as a good source of calcium? No.
As I understand it, there are different types of
calcium
, and they are not all equally absorbed. I was told that
calcium
citrate is best if you can’t get sufficient
calcium
from your diet. I am easily getting 1200 mg by drinking three 8 oz glasses of skim milk daily.

I’ve started on Diltiazem 60mg twice a day. I’ve been on it for2weeks now. I just wondered whether it is too soon to expect an improvement in my AF ? My pulse is very irregular most of the time ! I did have an ablation 7 years ago but recently the AFhas returned . I am now 76 and would prefer not to
