Blood tests

Hi I called to see my doctor this morning as i am still having problems with diarrhea. I did post about in November I think, I got some good advice then, but alas the problem is ongoing. I have been booked a blood test by the GP to check for coeliac disease which also includes my thyroid. The test

So a year of having repeat blood tests approximately every 3 months I seem to be getting nowhere! These are my latest results and have yet to hear from my doctors but expecting a message to just go for another test in 3 months.

Does anyone struggle to get enough blood out for the home testing?

Im still on watch and wait, and at the beginning I was having blood tests every 2 weeks, and have seen my Heamtologist 3 times. Now I hardly have any blood tests, the last test i had was the middle of last year . Is this normal.

Hi, I have been feeling really tired lately and had some bloods taken. The doctor said i am in range and dont need supplements but they look on the lower end. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I usually bruise and come out In positive pathergy after blood tests. But today this one hurt a lot! And it looks like blood pooled under the skin, it’s quite sore and very tender. Does anyone else get this?

hi, i have been on prednisolone for just over 3 1/2 months, all going well so far, my GP sends a 6 week prescription for each dose reduction and texts to check im still ok a few days afterwards, i just wondered how often blood tests are recommended?

At first I booked regular blood tests myself then had a yearly review this past January by a nurse, including a blood test. Should I still be booking tests in order for liver/kidney function to be monitored and if so, how often?

I wrote a while ago about symptoms I had that might be a Rheumatic Disease but all my blood tests have returned negative. I have now been taken off Rheumatology list. Concerns were for swollen salivary glands and dry mouth and reynauds negative ANA with pattern. No sign of blockage on ultrasound.

doc won’t accept this active test as my serum test is 354. 191-663 b12 Folate 4.3. 3.89 - 26.8 Quite a difference I’m at a loss

I’m exhausted today as a result If I have the blood tests done at Guys then at least I have consistent data, and more to the point they appear in my Guys record automatically. I had one set done at my local GPs, and it was a nightmare transmitting the information from my GPs to Guys.

Hi, new on here & just wandered what blood tests my doctor should do? Can I request them...I've had a fbc done, but that didn't include folate, ferritin, iron or vitamin D. These are the results below....is it possible can anyone see from these if I should be taking any supplements?

Gp serum b12 was normal 354. 191-663 but Medichecks active one says different my folate is 4.3 3.89-26.8 so gp says all normal no action and I feel really unwell my mch and nchc are all low trans sats l I’m at a loss as what supplements to take but I’m so tired shortness of breath on exertion and
