haven’t posted in a while. Coping on 2 mg a day for a few years. I haven’t had a blood test since before covid. I have requested from time to time but been refused - I guess if I’m feeling ok then don’t worry. Is this usual when on long term steroids? As I get my pension this year I’m sure the general

Interpreting blood tests
I've been on ADT for 4 months in preparation for RT and then HDR BT. I have localised G8 with an initial PSA of 8.1 Prior to commencing ADT, my PSA inexplicably dropped to 4.94 but then rose to 5.37 within 2 months. Anyway, here are my test results before starting ADT; These are Aussie measurements

hi, had blood test results and they’re all abnormal. Speaking to GP on Monday but wondered if anyone knows if a CRP result of 11 indicates polymyalgia?

Hiya. New to the forum, as was diagnosed with graves last week. I've done some research, and want to get various bloods done ( probably Blue Horizon, which seems to be pretty good??) My question is, amongst the plethora of tests to choose from, which ones are best. I definitely want the vitamin one,

I had
blood
tests
done recently and my Alkaline Phosphate & Serum Gamma GT level have come back out of normal range. Has anyone else had this? I’m wondering if menopause is linked to higher Liver readings.

Negative blood tests
My previous rheumatologist took all my symptoms into account as well as my
blood
tests
. I have been on azathioprine for about 10 years, this made a real difference to my inflammation levels and pain levels and seems to be the only thing that has brought them down to normal levels.

Blood tests whilst pregnant
This is a question after reading posts+research. I understand there is a Def link between underactive thyroid/Hashimotos kicking off whilst pregnant+a link between Hashimotos+pre-eclampsia. Speaking from experience many years ago, for me this seems clear. So, just as mother's are checked re diabetes

So in December I had
blood
tests
and was told that my ALT had normalised. I was then put on some new statins and again had
blood
tests
at my GP surgery and they again came back as ok (ALT was 40).

Re Blood tests
The nuclear team and thyroid oncologist made it 100% clear , that prior to ANY
blood
tests
, if one is taking thyroxine, it is ESSENTIAL to take the thyroxine, morning of test. This gives a true indication of all levels. Why would folk write its best not to take thyroxine before
