HbA1c test. I am 72, and have T2 diabetes. For quite a few years my reading hovered from 48 to 52; then I got the diabetic lecture, some pills and a BS monitor to use 4 times a day.

Hello Friends My blood test report is better than previous reports previous was 10 now 7.5

I had a blood test: HbA1c last week and again this week. Seeing the result from the first one that was done, I guess I have Diabetes. The result was 8.8. I'm waiting to hear back from the doctor re 2nd test.

Does anyone with Diabetes and on Dapsone, have a problem with HBA1c test results being too low? The doctor was reducing my medication, gliclazide, because the test results were low. I started testing myself again and found them high.
