Just done a HBA1C test with Medichecks and now it’s 40 mMol my last test was April this year and that was 41 mMol so it’s coming down ever so slightly I’m been walking a lot and watching what I’m eating and now down to about 78 kg weight so I guess keep plodding on

Hi all after having had a result of 48 on my Hba1c test I am thinking of purchasing a blood sugar level monitor to keep a check on things, anyone point me in the right direction?

After my recent HbA1c test (reading 6.3%) , i stopped Metformin and replaced it with Gymnema (2 to 3 g) once a day. The initial results were promising. My FBS ranged from 90 to 110 mg/dL for almost a month. But after a month, my FBS slowly started increasing beyond 110 mg/dL.

A bit akin to the difference between testing your blood sugar level at home, which is a snap shot of that moment and an hba1c blood test which gives an average reading. However I can't find any reviews or assessments about them. Can anybody provide information, have you got one ?

He recommended a glucose HBA1c test. So having that on Friday. He didn’t think Hydroxy was causing odour( it’s not sweet which I gather it would be if diabetes was the cause….

Have had a meds review with cardiologist today. Lipids all good, ldl 0.9, trigs 0.5, total 2.5. Don't need both meds anymore.
