Living Hell
I first experienced RLS about 1982. I had no idea what was wrong with me so I just put it down to some sort of allergy. As the attacks were quite intermittent, I didn't seek any help at the time. After about a year though. The frequency and severity of the attacks increased manyfold and was now causing

Links between TSH and RLS. Have I found my cause in sub clinical hypothyroidism due to autoimmune disease Hashimoto syndrome?
As my RLS was under pretty good control I decided to see how I would go if I stopped my Tramadol 50-100mg daily, and tried CBD/THC oil instead. The answer was badly. My symptoms came back to the point I barely slept for 6 nights. And of course I also had withdrawal symptoms to deal with. As most of

Hi, As if I thought things could not get any worse, I have just been diagnosed with sciatica, having suffered with the PMR for the past year and wondered if anyone has suffered from this having PMR as well, so if they are related or not. ? Would it be possible also that could be a PMR flare ? although

Warfarin and Acetaminophen ? Are there any interaction please ?!
Hello, I'm just wondering which pain medications would not interact with Warfarin please? I know anti-inflammatories are not ok. What about Panadol (Acetaminophen/Paracetamol), is this okay to take while being on Warfarin? Appreciate any information you can provide, Many thanks Rosegardens

methadone or buprenorphine
After augmentation and the horrors of withdrawal, I started on methadone in Feb this year and have titrated slowly up to 7.5 mg . I am now sleeping around 5-7 hours per night but very broken sleep with breakthrough RLS during the night. I think I may still be feeling some effects of augmentation. On

Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone else had, had a bad experience with their laparoscopy? I have suffered with endometriosis for 18 years ((I am 34 yes old)) (constantly misdiagnosed, gas lighted, not listened to, told it was normal period pains and to "just get on with it" - you know the usual story for

A Little More Tramadol?
Well, I found exactly ONE article discussing ONE patient (this case study was picked up by several medical publishers) in 2007 that they “guess” may have been suffering from Tramadol augmentation. Pardon my French, but what frickin idiots. They have this woman stop her years and years long use of tramadol

I went to 5 at night but am weaning off myself with the help of 50mg Tramadol around 6pm. Down to alternating 2 or 3 at night slowly. Had bloods

update from Ruffabug (End of life plan)
A big thank you to those who kindly replied to my post of a couple weeks ago entitled HELP PLEASE TO REDUCE DOSE OF NEUPRO .To remind you I have terminal cancer with roughly six to nine months life expectancy. After reading your replies I decided not to try to reduce the Dopamine Agonist Receptor drugs

Advice sought on switching from Tramadol to THC/CBD
I'm on 50 - 100mg of tramadol a day and slowly getting augmentation. Started with 50mg and now I alternate nights at 100mg. I'm reluctant to go to 100mg everyday yet but most nights 50mg doesn't work great. My Dr has suggested I try a THC 10mg/CBD 10mg medication and stopping Tramadol, so I will give

Changing meds
I've been on Tramadol for almost a year now but am beginning to augment. I have been referred to a neurologist but don't expect an appointment until some time next year. In the meantime my GP is putting me on codeine. Does anyone have any advice about changing from Tramadol to codeine? The GP said

A Natural Approach to Calming Restless Legs
I want to share my personal experience in the hope that it might benefit someone else. I was prescribed Ropinirole 2mg slow-release and Pramipexole 0.18mg for restless leg syndrome, but they were not very effective. I had rough nights, and at least once or twice a week, I had to take Tramadol 50mg
