Does Tramadol cause rls
My mum has been taking tramadol for 10+ years. She initially took it for pain and then later when diagnosed with rls, she continued to take it. 7 weeks ago I took my mum to the gp as gabapentin was not helping any more, gp gave her pregabalin 75mg twice a day. After this she had an appointment with

Kidney
Someone please help, I’m at my whits end.... Suffering really bad with kidney infections, I’m on antibiotics but this pain in my flank area is ridiculous. To the point where I’m waking up crying. I’ve tried, tramadol, paracetamol, heat pads, hot water bottle, volterol, hot baths. Any other ideas?

Coping with back pain.
I've had L4, L5, S3 for over 22 year's. Funny how you remember the time 🤨. I have the biggest pain in my left hip that started last year. (Great) tramadol works for me and learning to live with it. Several injections in the area. Last one in July. I've cried into my pillow so many times through pain

I have had restless leg syndrome for over 10 years. I augmented recently on ropinarole and are now taking pregabalin instead. Its early days yet but I seem to be winning the battle from weaning myself of the ropinarole. I have done it slowly and am down to .25mg a day from 3mg a day with the help of

Period pain without the period
I’m currently taking Millinette - 3 packs on 1 week off - this is my second break and I’m in absolute agony. I haven’t had a period since January I was diagnosed in March with Endometriosis. I have pain everyday even after the operation and I am currently on an 8 week pain management plan. The pain

Anyone taking tramadol and breastfeeding, or done this before and lo has been fine. Only on low dose of 50mg am and pm. Formula fed at night
I have a 2 month old, and I've been finding the pain I used to have before becoming pregnant has come back with vengeance and making it hard to function and be the mother I want to be. I started to take 1 (50mg) tablet in the morning when the pain would get bad, and then another in the evening. I did

How can you guarantee you're making enough milk for lo during day. I formula feed when he gets angry, frustrated & starts grabbing during bf
I've always struggled with breastfeeding from the start. I was ill in hospital following a c-section and kidney/ liver problems therefore unable to breastfeed. My lo did well taking to the bottle in the evenings and eventually by the end of the week he was bf during the day (1 week old). My lo is 2 months

Post lumbar microdiscectomy surgery/recovery
I had an endoscopic microdiscectomy on my L5/S1 on 21st June 2019 after suffering agonising/debilitating pain from March 2019 (the surgery was only fast-tracked due to private medical insurance). I was advised the usual, to not bend, twist or lift anything heavier than 2lbs in the first 6 weeks. Not

Fibroid and cyst found - think I have endo too, would love some advice and support as it’s scary!
Hi ladies - what a fantastic forum! Will cut a long story short, had a complicated medical history for the last 18 months, not helped by being misdiagnosed; diaphragmatic hernia that bowel looped through (botched op resulting in pneumonia and bilateral pulmonary embolisms), osophogitus and stomach ulcers

Half marathon training...
Are there any runners on here? I have my first half marathon in 4 weeks time (Royal Parks London) and my training has been such a struggle. Whenever I am close to my period I experience intense contractions during my run. Sometimes I can push through the pain, sometimes I cannot. Even when I take tramadol

No wonder I was in pain!
Some of you will recall that when I returned from Minorca on 4th July I had a burnt foot, despite having worn Factor 50. Ever since then, I have been telling the professionals that I had badly hurt the back of my calf on the same holiday. My (usually very good) rheumatologist dismissed it. The pain

Drain fitted after lap
I had my 3rd lap on 5th sept. I was kept in for a night due to the extent of the endo and had a drain fitted in the incision above my pubic bone, where it collected blood. That was taken out on the 6th sept and I was able to go home. When I had the drain it hurt inside when I had a wee and it’s continued

Sifrol hell
Hi, I am a 57yo lady. Maybe mid 2018 I was prescribed Sifrol aka Pramipexole, Mirapex etc to combat RSL whilst withdrawing from Slow Release Tramadol used for about 16 years for Fibromyalgia. I had NO idea at the time this drug SIFROL is harder to get off than opiates...unless you use opiate meds

Going Mad trying to find a cause for bad nights and days!
Hi everyone, I just feel as if I'm going crazy trying to find a reason why my legs are bad sometimes and not others. I have some nights when I am only awake once and a night like last night where I had about 90 minutes disturbed sleep through the night and up the rest! I feel as if there's some dietary

Stuck and don't know where to go now
Hi everyone I recently (july) had nerve root block injections around S1. I had these first around 3years ago and they worked amazing and I felt great with no pain aftetwards. However, in around March this year I started to feel the pain coming back again. It was managed with Tramadol and Pregablin, which

Adenomyosis and lower back pain.
I’m so relieved to have found this group after 3 years of undiagnosed increasingly bad pelvic & lower back pain. My story....After many GP & gynae appointments (transvaginal ultra sounds, hysteroscopy)I pushed for a laparoscopy to rule out Endometriosis on my other organs & found I had Adenomyosis.
